• @lynn90 Very well said but sadly some still do not get it. Wu Chun has only filmed reality shows lately but that is it. He had no singing or acting skills. He just tried to get by due to his looks which I never found that attractive. All of the other 3 members in Fahrenheit have pretty decent to good solo careers but he has nothing in comparison to them in that aspect. Since he has nothing, he has to milk his personal life which I find sad but also hilarious too.
  • @lynn90 I agree but sadly some just do not get it and think that lying through their teeth is ok. Some even lie point blank when caught red handed. I can understand if you have to due to the circumstances as it would depend on the situation. But if you lie just to protect your image and play everyone then that is not ok. Then the truth comes out and you over expose your lover, wife and family. What the heck? Yes, I adore Hu Ge too and wish him the best. He seems like such a wonderful guy. I hope his future partner will cherish him and treat him well.
  • @hetieshou It's hilarious. I guess, fans or the public can't have morales anymore? Anything celebrities do are excused? Any lies are swept under the rug? I don't see the harm in fans or anyone expressing their thoughts and opinions on how lying is not okay. I adore Hu Ge, wishing him the very best.
  • @joojin I think it's pretty silly to call anyone who disagrees hate. I'm not going to assume why he lied or that he's too rich to lie or that it wasn't his idea to do the show or that losing one fan isn't going to affect his career. All the things you listed are irrelevant and doesn't negate the fact that he lied all these years. I don't see what's so hard to accept that he lied? His career has been affected, besides filming reality shows, his professional portfolio has been empty for the last few years. It's not hard to stay in the ET circle these days especially when you're selling your family and private life. It's hilarious to see.
  • @hetieshou @lynn90 I don’t get it, why so much hate to Wu Zhun lol. Sure he did lie, but hey, back then he was young and he just started his career as an entertainer, image is extremely important especially being an idol at that time. He’s flashing it now may due to he felt sorry for burying his wife after so long. It could be a form of acknowledgement to her? And FYI, Wu Zhun himself is very rich to begin with, he doesn’t need to stay relevant in the entertainment industry to survive. He’s basically set for life. Pretty sure it was the producers who approached him to document his love story as well cause they find it marketable, and most probably not Wu Zhun himself. People are so confusing, when celebrity hide their loved one, people condemn and now acknowledging them, people complain as well lol. Be sad all you can, losing one fan alone will not affect them.
  • @lynn90 I agree and was about to say the same things. He lied through his teeth for such a long time but is now gushing about his wife and kids at every chance he gets. I find that so sad and pathetic. If he was so keen on sharing his private life then why didn’t he share from the beginning? He could have been honest and fans would have accepted. If they are your true fans then they would support you no matter what. I guess Wu Chun has no talent in singing or acting so has to showcase his kids and now his wife in order to get attention. I find that so very sad and am disgusted by his behavior. He was all saying how his wife did not like the limelight. Really? If so then why is he showcasing her so much now? They both turned 360 degrees. What the heck? Hypocrites and compulsive liars! I bet their teeth will fall out soon. I like Hu Ge a lot and he has always been open and honest about his relationships. But the good thing is, his fans are mature and supportive of him and even encourage him to find a partner to spend his life with. I wish all fans were like that. The sad part was Hu Ge’s late mom did not like his girlfriends. I hope he finds someone his father likes as his mom has passed away. I totally agree that celebrities do so many unpredictable things that nothing shocks me anymore. However, I hope Hu Ge will not as I would be disappointed too. Celebrities are like politicians since they constantly lie through their teeth. Wu Chun is pretty much gone as a celebrity so must try to stay in the limelight by milking his private life for all it is worth. It feels like he is milking it like the media is milking the Coronavirus. Once again, how shameful and pathetic!
  • Yeah, once someone uses the ugly, fat, or parents card, it's over. You're just as dumb as the person you're calling dumb.
  • Haha, he lied a second time about his marriage?! And now, debuting her in a new show? This guy is something else, all together. Is that the ONLY argument against angry fans towards celebrities being public compulsive liars? Okay, then what do you say to male fans who are angry for his web of lies? Or married fans who just genuinely support him but don't condone lying? When someone lies about something this big, it says a lot about their character. I wouldn't choose to support someone who has to hide their wife and kids for the sake of fame and fortune for decades now. Sure, sure. We all have different opinions but let the fans be angry. What's wrong with that? They're entitled to express their frustration at liars, too, you know, be it celebrities or not. Why do people have to make fans look like they're the ones in the wrong for being disappointed in lying celebrities? Sure, sure. It's his private life, but it's a joke when each time his secrets are revealed, he comes out with a new show to display that privacy he so protected and threatened to sue people for infringing. Haha. What a clown this guy truly has been all along. The only celebrity I'm a fan of is Hu Ge. I'm already married to the love of my life and have kids. I've never dreamed of marrying him. I don't even like him in a romantic way. Haha. But I'd be disappointed if he ever lied about issues like this. Why?! Because Hu Ge is so wise and unpretentious all along that it'd be pretty shocking if that ever happened. But nothing surprises me anymore. Celebrities are even more wack than commoners. Haha.
  • @lynn90 I agree, she seems very sweet and actually down to earth. And I also agree the roles she’s getting is pretty bad. But what can you do, when most of the good roles would go to Yang Mi because she has better fans base and her rating performance has always been more solid (it’s a management/business call). So DD will always be second to Yang Mi, and when you are in that boat, you are better off elsewhere. Tbqh, jaywalk don’t seem to able to manage its artist well? Apart from Yang Mi and DD, I don’t see other explosive stars
  • @lynn90 I agree, she's very hardworking and a great person in real life. Most of the criticism is from haters, I feel she is quite good for her age, but Jaywalk picks many scripts for her that have a similar kind of character. She needs more variety to shut the haters up
  • Maybe she's an average actress because she doesn't like the roles her management gives her? I thought she was good in the drama with Rain, Tang Yan, and Luo Jin as supporting then of course, I adore her as Feng Jiu in both dramas. I really like Dilraba. She's so grounded, sweet, hardworking, and genuine. Although, there are younger and better actresses, but they have an air of arrogance, not quite like Dilraba.
  • The boy is cute but he needs more than looks to make it. His acting is still so stiff.
  • @lynn90 Completely agree. Reba and Vengo are perfect for the roles of Feng Jiu and Dong Hua. There's lots of subtle expressions for DH's role, and for FJ it's easy to go over-cute or annoying if they don't handle the character well. Their acting has actually improved a lot. But the scriptwriter added too much filler and unnecessary parts for the 2nd 3rd 4th leads, making it a lot less interesting. I just fast forward the parts that don't have Reba or Vengo. If they followed the timeline in the book, they may have better ratings/reviews. But going in chronological order was probably meant to not confuse people who haven't read the book. Most of the bad ratings are probably from people who haven't read the book and assume Pillowbook is a direct sequel to Eternal Love, so they're confused why the story is different. Pillowbook should be treated as an entirely new drama, then people won't get confused. Now that the mortal realm arc is done, it should get a lot more interesting, can't wait for the new episodes!
  • I blame it on the execution of the drama. It's slow and boring. The director is known to be horrible anyway. If done right, the drama could've been amazing. However, characters wise, I prefer Feng Jiu over Bai Qian any day. Feng Jiu is a good cook, knows how to fight, skilled in weaponry, goes after what she wants. That's a strong woman who happens to be madly in love, which I find nothing wrong with. Although, Dilraba isn't a strong actress but she's perfect for the role. She doesn't overdo the cuteness and it doesn't come out cringey. The way her innocence, sincerity, and profound love towards Dong Hua gushes out is touching. Vengo isn't a strong actor either but when they both come together, they have good chemistry and that's what drives the drama. The script isn't too bad. I've seen worse. There are some lines that were memorable and sweet. If they had capped it at 40 episodes earlier, there wouldn't be so much filler nonsense and the story would flow quicker and smoother. I'm not impressed but it's a decent enough drama to follow every week.
  • @lynn90 I have a feeling that you are right and Wu Chun and Ella did date at one point while he kept his girlfriend/wife in the shadows. I find that very pathetic and sad. He led everyone on and it is no wonder FRH and SHE do not even associate with each other anymore. They are so awkward around each other. Yes, that is why I find Wu Zun gushing about his wife and family all very fake and pathetic. Mainlanders are more open while Taiwanese and HK artists lie through their teeth a lot more. I wonder why they need to lie so much as once the truth comes out, they will face a lot of backlash. You should see the Korean celebrities, it is much worse but understandable as their fans and society are beyond crazy. I do not remember if HXM and Angelababy were open at first but mainlanders are generally more open and honest. Like Gao Yuan Yuan was open when she dated Mark. She was caught with him and admitted it right away as opposed to some who are caught red handed but yet still lie through their teeth. That is beyond pathetic.
  • @lynn90 There is nothing more fulfilling than having people to love, and be loved in return. It is not only romantic love, it can be love from relatives, friends and even pets. However, there is something very special about romantic love and kids born out of a relationship. It is up to celebrities to tell the public and media about their families or partner. They are human too and can decide they want to keep that part of their lives private. What I don't understand is the threats of suing when they know the news being spread about them is true. If these men and women do not want to discuss their relationships, they are entitled to that freedom of choice. However, I find it very insulting when they tell the public and media that they don't have a girlfriend, boyfriend, spouse or children when they do. Most of the times they are not even asked. They just volunteer this information without any question or pressure. This I find pathetic. Wu Chun certainly falls under that description. Say nothing if you are not going to tell the truth about your love or child status. If Mike He was not washed up, no way would he announce his wife and child, as he was saying only months before that he did not have a girlfriend. Allegedly,Joe Cheng is married to some SheMan named He Zhengmei and he preached he had no girlfriend for years. Another Taiwanese singer was married for almost twenty years to a beard and always announced (without even being asked) that he does not have a girlfriend, or if he ever married, he will not tell the public or media. He hid the *wife* well. She was only seen with him when everyone was whispering that he is gay and has Aids or the HIV virus. He did waste away to nothing so he finally decided to show his wife to the world to stop the gay and HIV rumors. Yes, Taiwanese and Hong Kong celebs do hide behinds beards a lot, or they love to hide their relationships and lie through their teeth about said relationships. They need to be quiet if they don't want to announce their partners or kids. It is an insult to the fans who make them who they are.
  • @renren Honestly, I think not only did he lead the fans on, he also deeply lead Ella on, too. Thus, is why they had a huge fallout. After the fallout, Fahrenheit and S.H.E who were under the same company and collaborated in songs, music videos, to concerts never did so again. It was always so awkward between Wu Chun and Ella up to a point of them avoiding each other, even the name of the other wasn't pleasant to the ears. My hunch is, the rumors were true. They dated at one point. That's why I find Wu Chun's true love story laughable. Haha. I've noticed that Taiwanese and Hong Kong celebrities are bigger and longer liars compared to Mainlanders. The list of male celebrities from Taiwan and Hong Kong just grows, those that hide their girlfriends, wives, and kids. Yet Mainlanders are so open. They be dating in their early twenties and have the courage to admit it. That's why I wouldn't be surprised if Eddie Peng or Wilber Pan announce that they've been married with kids for a while. I mean, no one honestly even knew Godfrey had a girlfriend of 3 years. So I applaud Mainlanders for being man enough to give respect to their partners. People can dislike HXM and Angelababy all they want but that couple dated a few years openly before getting hitched and then having their son. At least, they did it the right way, at least to me.
  • @lynn90 I think Andy Lau are the same way too not just him so I’m sure there’s more out there are like that too.
  • @lynn90 yeah, I remember the fans were shipping him with Ella like mad, rabid fools, whose lives depended on him and Ella being together. That was wild and unbelievable. He never asked the fans to stop the shipping, and explained that him and Ella were not in a relationship. He soaked it up to hide his wife and kids. How sad is that.
