• Patricia gives me the impression of being the outspoken and direct type. Last time, she was outspoken and direct as she mentioned that she was sexually harassed by Gabriel Harrison. Most actresses, I believe, would just remain quiet and suffer in silence, which is sad. And Patricia obviously did not kiss the TVB executives' as* during her 12-year period in TVB with her minor roles. Twelve years is definitely not a short period. I wonder if she could turn back the time, would she be less direct and join the crowd by trying to "connect" with the executives? If so, she could be given more opportunities with some meatier roles and possibly gain fame if she does have some "audience luck".
  • @jimmyszeto Firstly, Koni puts up a brave front in public; she still goes to work as usual, and takes care of her son. Her action of putting up a brave front and placing her attention on work and her son instead of dwelling on her divorce make me feel that she is a strong and resilient person. And it is not easy to be a single mum. Koni decided to go through divorce and to become a single mum do imply to me that she is a strong person. Secondly, I really like her character in CHL that I have a good impression on her. Maybe this is why I side her. I don't mind if you say I am biased towards her. Hence my view is pretty subjective. It based on my own judgement. I don't mind if you disagree with me. After all, there isn't really a specific standard in judging things, is it?
  • @scent Strong and resilient attitude? Where did you get that from?
  • Always like her role in Come Home Love. Off camera, her strong and resilient attitude have my respect. Good that she places all her attention on her child instead. Way to go, Koni!
  • @coralie "Isn’t she trying to use them for publicity?" Exactly my thoughts!
  • @scent Exceptions is one thing, but it depends on the couple. Alyssa Jia and her husband are 9 years apart and she is the one who is older. They are very happy and blissful and have 2 daughters together too. Alyssa was once married with a daughter from her first marriage too mad her current husband accepts and loves her just like his own. Age gap is just one of the factors but should be be the deciding factor about whether a couple lasts or not.
  • @mihk1994 "...Mark my words, this couple will not last, he will dumped her once he had enough fun with her. Little boy and older sister relationship never ends well." Maybe there are exceptions? Like Catherine Hung Yan and Andy Zhang whose age gap is 10 years?
  • @scent It's common for those in the entertainment world. They change spouses like changing clothes and hairdo.
  • @nomad822 It is just a matter of time. Not a fan of both but find that it is a pity. Both were busy with their careers and appeared to be loving at the start of their relationship. I guess it takes a huge effort to maintain a relationship, especially with all the temptations in the entertainment circle.
