To me, her best performance was Virtue of Harmony II in which she acted natural way. I cannot say I watched all of her shows & movies but in all others I watched I saw the same her over and over with her signature expressions. These were just bad.

I think they should be kept private between them. I saw so many of couples who had claimed to be so madly in love then would break up later, they would even flight each other on social media.
-
@someonefromspace China really likes to make people be quiet. For ex, the doctor Wenliang Li got in trouble from the govt & died after raising the discussion that there was a coronavirus outbreak.
-
@someonefromspace many Chinese people in NY rent, especially if they havent been in the country for a long time. Also, people who work in supermarkets dont make much $
-
@someonefromspace i think Linda can act way better than Grace. Linda was young in Heart of Greed & Moonlight Resonance, but her performance was pretty good compared to Grace
-
@someonefromspace @wm2017 Charmaine isn't young, but she has value in the industry, esp. after Yanxi Palace, she became more famous. TVB needs to promote younger male leads.
-
@someonefromspace Anything that doesn't fit into CCP's agenda will get blacklisted.
-
@karina I thinks there are many rich people have real passions about acting, some want frame, some do it like hobby. I did like some of his episodes in Virtues of Harmony I & II. His face and body appearance limits his role to be comedy only.
-
I think this guy can act in certain roles but I do not think he can be a male lead. Anyway, I have seen several articles regarding this guy and his restaurants. Is he trying to keep his relevant with the news by paying reporters to report him?
-
I think China is too much with this ban/blacklist. Ali Lee lives in Hong Kong and she did not even stated her political opinions, she only wanted citizens to vote. Then her works have been impacted badly. I fail to understand why people make a big deal of it? Asking people to vote is that bad? Then if this is true, was what he did really bad?

@m0m0 they probably have a big saving from their earnings. Asians tend to own than rent so the costs may be limited to utility bills. They may also have diverse investments.

As long as they are happy and he does not register for more than one marriage at a same time, it is acceptable. Life is colorful, I am okay but I do not envy this as many times even one is hard to handle.
-
@someonefromspace its an understatement to say "Linda cannot act better than Grace and Grace is not really good" I think Grace should not even blind us with her "i am trying very hard to act" stunt. Linda....Linda......what acting?
-
@someonefromspace #Charmaine S is overrated# I thought I was the only one who thought so. haha lol..right on... Yes, the only reason she has not being asked to play mother roles is probably due to her still some sort of popularity which I never get the hype w her. I remember some women who are barely 40's and asked to be playing mother roles. She is getting old as she's in her mid 40's but TVB does not promote youngsters like Korea/Japan/China so I guess she can still pair up w/some dudes since TVB really do not promote fresh meats anyway?? She can still pair up w/Wayne Lai/Moses Chan etc....hahah lol......
-
Linda could act cute long ago. Now I do not think Linda can act better than Grace Chan does and Grace Chan is not really good at acting. Charmaine is overrated. She is considered more famous but I do not really think she is much better than new TVB lead artists. Also Charmaine is getting old and nowadays companies only want to have young girls to be leads.

The title of this article implies he gives an amount of $200k to his daughter only but its content stating RMB 200k is for his ex and his daughter.
-
Not sure why people are fighting too much. He does not feel he needs to clarify then whoever support him just need to respect his decision. At the end of the day, it is his career and earning. I do not watch Mainland shows as they are too lengthy to follow but as I understand China has many raising stars so any young artists can be easily replaces.
-
I think the movie is primary for China market. I do not know the movie is good or bad but US market alone will not help the box office much. Not many Americans are into Kung Fu.
-
@rika I agreed. In fact, some looks even worse than “normal”: Winki Lai, Sisley Choi, Grace Wong. Even Ali Lee does not look good at all. I think Makup does make day and night differences.
