• @cutie777 Baby's health is definitely number 1, but I remember Kevin mentioning a while ago that he wanted a daughter. So hopefully this one will be a girl!
  • @terrycrews19 The sad thing about this drama is that it started off really well, but we noticed that many of their sweet scenes that we saw in BTS or trailers were cut. That's one thing fans complained about and wanted the production team to release. The drama was initially on a 45 episode run (for tv), then they extended it to 51, instead of focusing on the main leads, the story switched over to the second lead couple. One 30-40 minute episode only had the main leads for 5-7 minutes. That's mainly why the ratings aren't that good for this drama, the actors were great but the editors screwed it up
  • @pompidur I thought the same thing when I saw all of them in a program together. The son in particular didn't pick up any of their "good genes"
  • I don't dislike her, but from watching Produce 101 I felt she was undeserving of making the top 11 (and #3 as well). There were girls in the finals who were more talented or more hardworking than her. She just got lots of votes from people online. Even in Rocket girls she gets the easiest "singing" lines with heavy background music, her dancing is passable at best, and oftentimes she's still out of tune. She could probably do well in the entertainment industry in something like acting because she's pretty, but singing+dancing is not for her
  • @m0m0 he's Lee Pace, he played Thranduil in The Hobbit. I recognize him when I saw the poster
  • @tungamy thanks I really thought it’s for short cut.
  • @cutie777 Her family is from Malaysia, so the pronunciation may be different
  • So priscilla is technically a "Rich second generation" but she definitely didn't grow up as one. Joey Law's mom owning two restaurants also doesn't make him a rich second generation....
  • @tungamy I think the type of looks where they grow on you is a lot more special and memorable rather than the beautiful and typical type of looks. Plus, there is much more to anyone rather than just looks.
  • I like how Zhou Dongyu isn't the kind where you see her and you think "Wow she's so beautiful!" She somehow grows on you the more you see her
  • I was just talking to someone about FH4 today. If TVB pushed out the other two Jacqueline's dramas, why did they spend so much money to re-shoot her scenes in FH4? It tires out the actors, uses lots of money, will create inconsistencies etc. From what I've heard she's not a main lead (just in parts here and there), so seems like a waste of money to do all this work if they were fine to broadcast her work anyways...
  • It actually seems like it's being contained better in China. With how the virus is being spread around the world, going to Japan is even more dangerous than staying in China. Just let them enjoy their vacation
  • The paragraph about the mortal realm arc is pretty wrong in this article. Dijun's mortal self doesn't remember his past life, but Feng Jiu knows who she is and is trying to help Dijun complete his calamity. Emperor Song doesn't expose she's dressing up as a boy, she exposes herself because she knows she needs to become his romantic interest in this life. The BTS is particularly funny because back in Eternal love, there was a BTS where Vengo couldn't pick up Reba, or was struggling to. So history has hilariously repeated itself
  • @lynn90 I agree, she's very hardworking and a great person in real life. Most of the criticism is from haters, I feel she is quite good for her age, but Jaywalk picks many scripts for her that have a similar kind of character. She needs more variety to shut the haters up
  • @lynn90 Completely agree. Reba and Vengo are perfect for the roles of Feng Jiu and Dong Hua. There's lots of subtle expressions for DH's role, and for FJ it's easy to go over-cute or annoying if they don't handle the character well. Their acting has actually improved a lot. But the scriptwriter added too much filler and unnecessary parts for the 2nd 3rd 4th leads, making it a lot less interesting. I just fast forward the parts that don't have Reba or Vengo. If they followed the timeline in the book, they may have better ratings/reviews. But going in chronological order was probably meant to not confuse people who haven't read the book. Most of the bad ratings are probably from people who haven't read the book and assume Pillowbook is a direct sequel to Eternal Love, so they're confused why the story is different. Pillowbook should be treated as an entirely new drama, then people won't get confused. Now that the mortal realm arc is done, it should get a lot more interesting, can't wait for the new episodes!
  • @tungamy she is using her kids as an excuse to return to HK...please! she can't sing, she can't act, so please don't return to do so. as for practising cantonese, it's a language which constantly requires usage.
  • @tungamy Yeah, definitely resembles mommy more, which is what Kevin said he wanted, anyway.
  • @tungamy Lol...This woman BS's alot as usual. Yup, alot of parents knowing their kids born in another country will excel in English rather than their mother tongue hence some of them enroll them in Chinese school so they will learn and keep the language other than English. But I do see some parents such as Linda Chung. I had a colleague once who is Chinese but came from Vietnam and all her daughter knows is English no viet or chi. The parents are so proud and often says you are in America you don't need to know any other language besides English. Oh boy!! Talk about ignorance. haha lol... Tons can be like her I am sure and not at all shocking esp this Linda Chung as herself often like to mix in English/Chinese even talking to HK reporters. Her other V group ladies do not do it as often which I am sure are fluent as well. She probably now didn't want to be a FT housewife in Canada probably not many there jobs anyway. Alot of foreign teachers in other countries a huge majority of them are from Canada. What can she do besides going back to HK and grab money while she still can and if kids get older will HK audience still give a crapzz about her? Lol...She's no dummy. Not a good actress/singer but not totally a dummy. haha lol
  • @tungamy well, my friend who was born in hk and went to international school there. he speaks perfect english but his cantonese sounds like an abc. then my brother in-law who came here when he was 3 and only spoke cantonese at home, speaks both perfect english and cantonese. couple of my abc friends spoke cantonese at home growing up, speak perfect cantonese. i think it's really the environment you're exposed to. if your friends and family speak to you only in one language then you would only speak that language but if your friend speaks to you in one and you are forced to speak the another at home, you would be good at that other language too.
  • @tungamy Like many parents, Linda is thinking her kids are more talented than what they really are. Saying that her child 'chooses' to respond in English is basically implying that they are quick learners of both languages but has the ability to choose what to use. The reason they are responding in English is the that the ratio of English taught whether by family or tablets whatever, is bigger than Chinese....
