70 Year Old Vera Wang Looks Magnificent in a Swimsuit

We all want to look this good when we’re 70.

Chinese American fashion designer Vera Wang is one of the most famous fashion designers in the world, and despite nearing 71 years old, the New York City-based designer is still setting trends.

Although born in 1949, Vera doesn’t look her age. Despite having two kids, Vera has managed to maintain her slim figure. She has thick long hair. If she turns her face to the side, you wouldn’t even recognize that you’re looking at the body of a 70 year old.

Recently, Vera—perhaps most known for her trademark bridal gowns—shared photos of herself during a Liz Taylor’s Studio 54 birthday party in 1978. Vera was 29 years old. The photos were taken by the late Bill Cunningham.

“Bill always caught me when I was least aware as he did with all of us…. that was his genius! A true observer!”

Looking at these pages, Vera really hasn’t changed much in the last 40 years!

  1. I have seen her in person before. She stood behind me at the grocery store and when I turned around and saw her, she scared the crap out of me because she looks like a ghost with her super long black hair and pale white wrinkly face. Not sure about the photos above but if her skin on her legs and arms don’t sag and still have that much elasticity then that is pretty amazing. My mom is in her early 70s as well and while my mom has great skin, her arms and legs definitely don’t look like that!

      1. @mulanwarrior I googled her photos. This definitely is Photoshopped. However she does look great for her age. Just not as youthful as these photos.

long black hair and pale face definitely trigger images of ghosts. that was what i though ghosts look like when i was young and ghosts look like that in juon. omg, must had been scary seeing that in real life. don’t they say women’s hairs get shorter as they age. quite usual to see an old woman with a wrinkly face with long thick hair. anyway, lucky you for seeing a celeb. how did you even recognize that it was her?

      1. @m0m0 lol yes it was pretty scary even though this was during broad daylight. I use to work in LA near where a bunch of actors live so I run into celebs quite often. I wasn’t 100% sure it was her when I saw her cuz I was so freaked out lol, but when I got back into my office, I googled her just to make sure and yep, that’s definitely her. Scary and I can’t ever forget the image I have of her. Lol.
