[Celebrity Weddings] Fred Cheng and Stephanie Ho Tie the Knot
Fred Cheng (鄭俊弘) and Stephanie Ho (何雁詩) finally tied the knot on November 7 with a modest wedding banquet attended by their relatives and close friends. Impacted by the pandemic, the couple scaled down the wedding ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and invited 50 relatives and friends. Although it was a small and intimate wedding, the couple shared that they would like to have a bigger celebration next year.
Following the Chinese wedding traditions, Fred and his groomsmen including Jonathan Cheng (張頴康) were tested in the traditional door games in the morning organized by bridesmaids Jeannie Chan (陳瀅), Anjaylia Chan (陳嘉寶), Winki Lai (賴慰玲), Cheronna Ng (吳嘉熙) and Sisley Choi (蔡思貝). As part of the games, Fred wore a mermaid costume and sang the Little Mermaid’s theme song. The groomsmen joined in the fun and were forced to wear pink boxer shorts. In another segment of the door games, Fred was hilariously tasked with using his toes to pick up mahjong tiles from a plastic basin.
Fred and the groomsmen came prepared with red pockets for the bridesmaids. When asked if the bridesmaid were satisfied with the red pockets, Sisley and Jeannie laughed and revealed, “It was astronomical. Eight-digit figure! I was shocked by the amount!” However, Fred praised Jeannie and Sisley for their ‘acting skills’ and indirectly admitted that the bridesmaids exaggerated the amount in the red pockets.
Emotional Wedding
The wedding date held another significance as it was also Stephanie’s father’s 70th birthday. Stephanie’s father was overjoyed to be celebrating his milestone while being honored with handing off Stephanie to Fred. The tender moment was filled with love and made the guests emotional.
While Fred revealed that their families urged the couples to quickly start a family, Fred confessed that he wants to take his time, “For the time being, we want to enjoy married life. We don’t have any short term plans to have babies. However, if we do have plans, our goal is to have two children.”

Congratulations!! Lol. Mermaid picture looks hilarious!! Question how come Fred family are not at the wedding but only Stephanie? I have noticed Stephanie parents always in the pictures but not Fred parents.

@jcc10 well even though they live in Canada they could have fly over for their wedding I mean it’s their son big day right? Unless the airport got locked down or something because of the virus? Or they’re afraid of heights? Anyway I don’t think they wanted to missed out their son big day. Or unless they’re not that closed? Who knows. I’m just being curious that’s all.
I hope she has a pre-nup. Let’s see how long the marriage will last.
Something about Fred just puts me off. Every time I see his face it irks me. He’s also not a talented actor or singer. Neither is Stephanie so it’s interesting that this wedding had so much press.
@tt23 agree. Both of them were fourth, fifth line artists and now they get so much press. Fred got real lucky with that singing “competition” in which everyone else just flopped, and now he sings every other theme song eye roll… He’s not cute/handsome/tall/talented/funny.. Maybe I’m being harsh but the way his forehead is very slanted (see headline pic) annoys me… Sorry Fred fans.
Also why do I feel like a lot of tvb female artistes don’t really have to work for money, because they all come from $$
