Dilraba Dilmurat Finally Leaving Jaywalk Studio?

Since leading mainland talent agency Jaywalk Studio parted ways with Yang Mi (楊冪), a number of its artists have gradually left as well, leaving Dilraba Dilmurat (迪丽热巴) as the company’s only remaining top-tier star.
Jaywalk Studio Falls Short
Back in May last year, rumors circulated that Dilraba’s contract with Jaywalk had expired and that she did not want to renew, but Jaywalk quickly issued a clarification to deny the claims. However, similar rumors soon began trending online again, claiming that Dilraba’s contract with Jaywalk has now ended, and that the two sides would announce it officially on a later date.
This time, Jaywalk has not released a statement to refute the rumors, leading many fans to interpret the silence as tacit confirmation. Believing the news to be credible, many voiced their support, saying the company has long fallen short of supporting the artist’s development, and that Dilraba could achieve better growth by pursuing her career more independently.
Adding to this, Dilraba had already set up her own wholly owned personal company in 2017, providing a foundation for her independent development. Despite heated online discussion, Dilraba’s side has not responded to the contract-ending rumors so far.
Fans are eagerly looking forward to her upcoming promotional activities in Beijing next month for her new drama Love Beyond the Grave <白日提灯>, co-starring Arthur Chen Feiyu (陳飛宇), which is set to premiere at the end of next month.
