“Idol Producer” Announces Its Boy Group Nine Percent

The Chinese boy group survival show Idol Producer <偶像练习生> has founds its boy band!

The show’s series finale was held in Beijing on Friday, April 6, after over three months of intense competition and performances. 100 trainees from 31 different entertainment companies across the nation competed for nine spots in a boy band.

The nine members for the boy group Nine Percent was announced during the finale. The name “Nine Percent” means nine percent of the trainees shall carry on the dreams and spirit of the other 91 percent.

    1. @m0m0 I agree, it was because he was one of the most popular members before the show anyways.
      By winning it means that they pretty much have an immediate debut in a boy group and will likely gain some fame from taking part and winning towards their future
