Jeff Hung Reveals Past Threesome Relationship with Billionaire Businesswoman
Former DJ and ex-TVB actor Jeff Hung (also known as Hung Chiu Fung 洪朝豐) came out of the closet and confessed that his sexual orientation changed from being bisexual to gay. Turning 60 in January, Jeff said although his public declaration came late, it stemmed from a desire to help the LGBT community.
Revealing that he had relationships with five men, Jeff also had a high-profile relationship with late billionaire businesswoman Teresa Po (also known as Po Wing Kam 寶詠琴). Jeff and Teresa’s relationship had rocked tabloid headlines in the 1990s and their subsequent breakup was equally the talk of the town. For the first time, Jeff finally revealed that the real reason behind the breakup was that he was bisexual at the time and their threesome relationship didn’t really work out.
Working at RTHK radio station, Jeff also appeared in minor roles in 1990s dramas such as the last three installments of Files of Justice <壹號皇庭>, The Legend of the Condor Heroes 1994 <射鵰英雄傳>, and the 1994 remake of Justice Pao <包青天>. Appearing in 16 TVB dramas, Jeff was also a regular host on the station’s long-running variety program Focus on Focus <城市追擊>.
While not remarkably handsome, Jeff’s sharply defined features and his talent attracted Teresa Po’s attention.
Ex-Husband Cheated with Multiple Actresses
Co-founding a billion-dollar business with her husband at the time, Joseph Lau (劉鑾雄), Teresa herself was worth over $10 billion HKD and was once Hong Kong’s second wealthiest woman. Bitterly disappointed by her husband’s numerous extra-marital affairs with actresses such as Rosamund Kwan (關之琳) and Michelle Reis (李嘉欣), Teresa and Joseph divorced in 1992.
Shortly after the divorce, Teresa was diagnosed with breast cancer. After six months of chemotherapy, Teresa’s condition improved but the cancerous growth recurred in later years.
First Meeting with Teresa
Jeff also experienced a failed marriage and met Teresa in November 1998. As a DJ, Jeff wanted to meet Teresa to gather research materials on euthanasia for his program. Despite Teresa being older than Jeff by six years, it was clear during their first meeting that two were attracted to each other. On their second meeting to gather more research material, Jeff and Teresa found themselves talking nonstop for seven hours, and Jeff even gave Teresa a kiss before they parted for the night.
By early December, the two grew close and Jeff invited Teresa to his concert at the Great Hall Theater. After the performance, Jeff asked if he could spend the night at Teresa’s house and thus they started their intimate relationship.
Bisexual Threesome
Although Jeff began a relationship with Teresa, she was aware of his bisexual sexual orientation and knew of Jeff’s longtime boyfriend.
His boyfriend was disappointed by his betrayal, but understood Jeff’s bisexuality and physical and emotional needs to be intimate with a woman.
Jeff shared that the complicated relationship was accepted by all parties involved, and the trio would travel on vacations together.
On-and-Off Relationship with Teresa
However, Jeff and Teresa’s complicated relationship faced more challenges than a regular heterosexual relationship did and they broke up. Unable to forget Jeff, Teresa asked for a reconciliation. Jeff agreed on the condition that “they cannot have a normal sexual relationship” as he was still involved with his longtime boyfriend. Teresa accepted the condition and the two would only hug and kiss each other.
Revealing why they had a volatile relationship, Jeff stressed that he was not dating Teresa for her money as his annual salary of $2 million HKD was sufficient and did not need Teresa’s financial support. Instead, the relationship ended because of differences in their personalities. Jeff thought that Teresa was very controlling and would lose her temper if things didn’t go her way. The two would frequently argue over small matters and after trying to work out their relationship for another half year after their reconciliation, they decided to part ways for good.
Teresa’s Death
In 2002, Teresa was diagnosed with kidney failure and had a transplant in Zhuhai. In the last ten years of her life, Teresa also had cancer recurrence three times. In 2003, she passed away at the age of 49 years old. Her two children, ex-husband Joseph Lau, and ex-lover Jeff Hung were at her funeral.

He continued to date his longtime boyfriend (the one who was sharing Jeff with Teresa), but their relationship ended after 12 years.
I felt Teresa Po’s love life was very tragic, especially her cancer battles and the repeated betrayals by her ex-husband, Joseph Lau. Although she did look very happy and vibrant while dating Jeff, their breakup ended on a bad note. After their split, Jeff pressed Teresa to pay him $1 million HKD, which includes sexual fees.

@dramas4me Jeff demanded the $1 million HKD after one of his breakups with Teresa, who refused to pay him. The amount allegedly included all the expenses he paid while dating her, including his charges for sexual fees. As the amount wasn’t astronomical, he likely just did it out of anger. There was some name calling between the two in the press, but Teresa realized that Jeff was unstable at the time. They actually reconciled again, but eventually broke up nevertheless.

@jayne “Controversial” is an understatement when used to describe Jeff back then, lol. I remember how much the media was saturated with news about Jeff and Teresa’s relationship at the time (it was like a never ending soap opera basically) and all the interviews they would do, whether individually or together. The fallout between the two of them later on I also remember was really ugly. But yea, Teresa definitely came off as the spited rich woman who did whatever the hell she wanted and Jeff was the mentally unstable lap dog who also had anger management problems.

Teresa was battling reccurring cancer the last ten years of her life, and her two children were already grown. She was known to be involved with three men in her life. Both her ex-husband and subsequent boyfriend were billionaire businessmen, but her ex-husband cheated on her and ex-boyfriend left her while battling cancer.
Jeff was a known DJ back then known for his wit. I think she may have realized that her end is near…and thus she had her last “wild fling” with Jeff, who is very different from the businessmen she chose in her first two relationships. They connected also because both had gone through divorce in different marriages. I suspect the relationship was physically satisfying for her, as her ex-husband wasn’t around much for years. Jeff had also boasted of his bed skills to the press during their on-off relationship.
It all sounds messy, but Teresa didn’t care about the bad press she was getting at the time with Jeff. She was a billionaire and just did what she wanted, as her ex-husband was in the weekly tabloids at the time too due to his involvement with various actresses.

I think Bo-wing Kam had a very sad life with a cheating husband. One of the hubby’s notable mistress is Michelle Reis who said she took 50% responsibility towards the suffering of Bo-wing Kam due to her relationship with him. Can read more here below;

Yes but I think Michelle was very itchy about it thinking that it’s not wrong to be the 3rd wheel. I think she called Bo-wing Kam and scold her etc.. kinda like mentally torturing her.
