Katy Kung Launches New Specialty Gift Food Brand

TV Queen Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) has been busy expanding her entrepreneurial pursuits in the food industry. She recently launched her own specialty gift brand, which focuses on specialty gift foods.
From past experiences running her dessert shop and hotpot restaurant business, Katy admitted that running businesses brought significant pressure. Although both her dessert shop and hotpot restaurant were profitable, she felt overwhelmed by the constant demands of entrepreneurship. Instead of staying in a stressful routine, Katy changed her approach this time and learned to relax more.
In addition, Katy has also gained attention for her cooking skills. Her food programs 50 Delicacies for Guests <在家宴客50道菜> and 60 Delicacies for Guests <在家宴客60道菜> both achieved solid ratings. Katy joked that she hopes to eventually film a version featuring 100 dishes. During production of these cooking shows, Katy also learned from several professional chefs. Renowned chef Siu Tak Lung (邵德龍) even accepted her as an apprentice and taught her the secret behind his famous pork chop rice dish.
Aside from her varied career resume, Katy’s love life is also at the forefront of the public’s attention. When asked about her rumored relationship with a Japanese master baker who returned to Japan to open a bakery, Katy quickly dismissed the speculation, explaining that he has always been just a work partner. She added that he may open a bakery in China, which could create future collaboration opportunities.
