Kevin Cheng, Grace Chan Move into New Home Next to Prestigious Schools

Just four months into their marriage, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) and Grace Chan (陳凱琳) announced they are expecting a baby boy. The couple has already bought a new home to comfortably settle down and welcome the baby. Both are very excited for the baby’s arrival, as 49-year-old Kevin has already made sure his son will have a good home and schooling environment to grow and learn in.

Despite trying to protect some of their privacy from reporters by writing down different addresses on their marriage certificates, reporters have discovered the location of their new home, as it was reported that the two are currently living in their new home that is in an area full of prestigious schools.

Grace Shows Baby Bump

Arranging his schedule to ensure he spends time with Grace during her pregnancy, Kevin was spotted holding Grace’s hand while walking outside to eat dinner. Kevin was dressed in a windbreaker with a red cap, while Grace wore a loose dress with a long warm coat for the cold weather. Despite the blurry image quality and Grace’s loose outfit, it is obvious that her stomach has grown quite large, so it is likely she may around six months and beyond.

The couple opted to walk rather than drive because they wanted to exercise and look around the neighborhood. They were seen stopping by outside real estate agencies to look at new properties, which might indicate of wanting to buy another home, as well as stopping to read pregnancy related information. After eating dinner, the pair slowly headed back home.

  1. Not familiar with either of them, other than the stuff I read. I don’t watch much TVB anymore.

Imo she’s a lucky girl. WITHOUT having to try so hard to marry into high end wealthy families; with all the attached politics (family, and societal scrutiny and stressful pressure).
A fu-er-tai 富二代 = aka second gen heir) or self-made nouveau riche billionaire who’s out for a trophy wife/future affairs once the gilt on the trophy wife wears off (and that will be necc with age. and the many opportunistic Bees with no ethics always looming on the horizon)

She got herself a husband who dotes on her, makes time for her and is a family man who looks out for the kid.

    1. @nomad822 Perhaps you commented on a wrong article?

I mean, Kevin is far from second gen heir. Grace’s family is probably the wealthier one. He does really dote on her though. His behavior on dating her is much different when he dated other actresses.

LOL. no I was NOT saying he’s fu er dai – far from.

What I am saying is = this girl is way luckier marrying him (ie Kenneth) who dotes on her and makes time for her.
Compared to marrying into a fu er tai or self-made nouveau riche type worth billions (which so many of them starlets try so hard to marry)

    2. @nomad822 Ya, used to make fun of the old man getting this young girl as wife but he is spending alot of quality time taking care of her so we can see why she is in love. She won’t have to worry about him too much finding another young girl for now at least.
It’d be different story getting a 富二代 in the same age as her. Her family is wealthy so she should have no problem mingling with the rich and finding suitable partners if she wanted. But those younger guys won’t treat her this well.

    3. @nomad822 i still think it’s a gross relationship lol. i think grace got the short end of the stick; she doesn’t know the repercussions of dating someone significantly older than herself. but in time, she will learn.

      1. @coralie
I like the Kevin/Grace relationship a lot more than Ruco/Phoebe. They weren’t vocally overprotective of each other when speaking to the media and seemed to compliment each other naturally. They were also low key and kept marriage matters private. The age issue might be a problem in later life similar to most couples with significant age gaps but currently they are are likely both healthy, energetic and communicate on the same level…

      2. @jimmyszeto i don’t like either relationships, but at least in ruco’s case, he made phoebe a somebody. grace was already somebody before she got together with kevin. for her to be with him in her prime is still more of a loss to her than him.

i think if kevin was younger, then he and Grace would make a great couple. but because of his age, i find it inappropriate. when you look at them together, he looks more like her uncle than her husband.

      3. @coralie I wonder what it is about Kevin that is so alluring to these women… He’s been involved with quite a number of beauties, including Linda Wong, Niki Chow, Charmaine Sheh, and now Grace. I don’t follow him closely enough to judge, but going off the few interviews I’ve seen, there’s really nothing outstanding about his persona. His acting, while not bad, isn’t particularly amazing either.

Grace could have easily found someone closer to her age range with equally, if not, better prospects than Kevin. Maybe she’s just caught up in the fantasy of marrying her childhood idol?

I agree with your sentiment about the whole age difference, though. Being that my dad is 25 years older than me, I find their 22 year gap especially creepy. It doesn’t help that Kevin’s age seems to be rapidly catching up to him (looks wise).

      4. @oystergirl Kevin was very attractive and charming in his 30’s. I think he is the type who can be sweet to his other halves, and easy to talk to (easy-going). I am not saying he is not attractive / charming now (because he still is but more mature) but he used to be a heartthrob like the 3 Heavenly Kings used to be.

      5. @oystergirl he was hawt when he was younger, so i can see the appeal back then for numerous women including niki, charmaine, linda, etc. but with grace, i think he preyed on her. i remember reading an article way back about how he deliberately requested grace chan to star in that vampire drama. now why would he do that when she did TERRIBLY in that pirate drama? couple that with her inexperience in this field, her alienation in HK, onslaught of critics regarding her acting in pirate drama, and he sure seems like a welcome beacon of warmth & acceptance. easy target for sure.

      6. @coralie I never found him attractive (too scrawny) personally, but I guess I could see the appeal. lol

Specifically requesting to pair up with Grace in a drama does come off predatory. She seems like the naive, impressionable type that would easily fall for it too, so I think there’s definitely some truth to your theory.

    1. @jjwong That’s exactly what I said when they first dated. People were saying she has such a motor mouth. hahah I said the girl is like first bf & first love what can she do but all giddy like a schoolgirl, equivalent to TC’s jumping couch?? LOL…haha n she pretty much admit she still had her V card when reporters asked so she’s like marrying her idol since childhood. ahhha…To me I think the dude is luckier cuz he’s OLD. lol haha

      1. @wm2017 Yea, I agree in Grace and Kevin’s case, he is the luckier one. TVB heavily promoted Grace bf her disappearance like @coralie said. I’m not saying her disappearance is a total lost lol.

      2. @jjwong Hell, none of below actresses’ can act I would be raising my hands and feet to see them off the screens. LOL haha….
        Eliza Sam
        Linda Chung
        Grace Wong
        Aimee Chan
        Grace Chan

      3. @wm2017 From that list, Aimee had most potential to me. TVB promoted her too early. They should’ve instead invest in training her and grooming her.

The most disappointed is Linda. After years in acting, she regressed. She started promising and rising though. Then she got c***y, in a way imo, and went downhill. Although she wasn’t as blunt in interviews as Grace was, Linda definitely believed she did all her best and it was bad luck that she got criticized.

I never thought much about Eliza.

You forgot about Sharon Chan? Oh the list goes on! We should’ve an annual Who’s Worst, Who’s Overated/Undeserving Award Ceremony lol.
