Leila Tong and Desmond Tang File for Divorce
Debuting in the entertainment industry when she was eight years old, Leila Tong (唐寧) has been in the industry for nearly 24 years. Despite dating rumors with costars Stephen Au (歐錦棠), Ron Ng (吳卓羲), and Luk Wing Kuen (陸永權) through the years, Leila had never publicly admitted to any relationships. In 2010, the baby-faced actress surprised many fans when she announced her marriage to theater actor and director, Desmond Tang (鄧偉傑). Despite their 13-year age gap, the couple welcomed two children soon after.
Seven years later, the couple filed for divorce. On June 8, Leila’s manager posted a shocking message on social media, announcing the couple’s separation. She wrote, “Leila’s marriage and family life is undergoing changes and the couple has already separated since last year. This year, they are officially filing for divorce to end their marriage. Although I feel it is a pity, life continues to move forward. One must face forward courageously and positively! As for the two children, although they will continue to live with their mother, [Leila and Desmond] will share custody. I hope our media friends will give them space and support to let them handle their affairs properly and return to normalcy soon.”
Spotted with a mystery man accompanying her home, Leila did not respond as to whether she has a new boyfriend. The 35-year-old actress also did not wish to elaborate on the reason behind her divorce.

Wow. This is sad never knew they’re going through a divorce time especially they already have 2 kids together. Leila daughter looks so beautiful while her son looked just like her. I wonder if this woman is Leila mom? I remember she’s mixed with Indonesia. It seems like Leila are going for a younger guy this time hopefully everything turn out good after their divorce.
I have always like Leila. Kind of miss her when she left TVB. After that, she starred in a few serials for HKTV with credible performances. Hope she will return to TVB soon, then we don’t have to keep on watching Natalie Tong who is in almost every TVB serials nowadays.
