Meeting Grace Chan Made Kevin Cheng Want to Get Married
Touted as one of the most beautiful Miss Hong Kong winners in recent years, Grace Chan’s (陳凱琳) career was off to a promising start. Despite mediocre reception to her acting skills, Grace was nonetheless given many opportunities to star in meaty roles at TVB. While filming Blue Veins <殭>, fireworks sparked between Grace and Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎). Although the relationship received backlash and many felt that it would not last due to their 22-year age gap, the couple proved naysayers wrong. After tying the knot in 2018, the couple soon welcomed their baby boy, Rafael, forming a happy family of three.
With a rich dating history, Kevin was notoriously known as an eternal bachelor in the entertainment circle. Apart from the couple’s age difference, many were surprised about Kevin’s decision to finally settle down. Other than his publicly-acknowledged six-year relationship with Linda Wong (王馨平), Kevin has never admitted to any other relationship, despite having been romantically linked to Niki Chow (周勵淇), Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), and Sharon Chan (陳敏之). Although he never admitted to any of these relationships, Kevin openly shared about his relationship with Grace with the public.
During an interview, Kevin once expressed, “Many years ago, I told my mother that I may not get married at all during my lifetime. When I met her [Grace], everything changed!” Kevin has not been shy about expressing his happiness with Grace. Merely a year into their relationship, Kevin admitted that he saw Grace as “the one” and proposed to her. Although he saw her as an ideal marriage partner, Kevin was willing to wait for Grace to push her career further before getting married.
