Philip Ng Celebrates 40th Birthday

Philip Ng (伍允龍) celebrated his 40th birthday on a work day, but the action star was in the company of close friends.

On September 16, the A Fist Within Four Walls <城寨英雄> star celebrated his 40th birthday on set in Shenzhen. He uploaded a series of pictures from the set to social media and thanked the cast and crew for surprising him with the mini birthday party. The cast purchased many different dessert pastries and a custom-made cake that is printed with a picture of Philip.

“My friends here gave me a very happy surprise! So happy and touched!”

After finishing work in Shenzhen, Philip will return to Hong Kong next month to start on the TVB drama Brothers <兄弟>, which also stars Vincent Wong (王浩信).

  1. Wow I didn’t know Philip is already 40! He looks way younger than he is. Geez, it feels like his career is just starting though.

Like most martial arts stars, their acting starts off as very wooden. Hopefully Phillip is still improving but his progress has been extremely slow.

    1. @elaiyio yes, Philip does look good for forty. But why shouldn’t he, lol. When Philip has someone else looking after his ‘responsibility’, of course he has no worries and can afford to look youthful, right @happybi?. You know what I mean. Hahahehe.

      1. @bubbletea ehhehehe you are too funny!!! Don’t get crazy started now!

I actually think he look his age. Love his body but his face does nothing for me.

      2. @happybi Yes, Philip does have a good body. He has a slender to slightly medium build, yet he has some muscle tone. Raymond Lam and other skeletal entertainers can take some lessons in training a slender body to look healthy and impressive from Philip.

  2. surprised he is 40!

He totally outshone the male cast in AFWFW, that’s why UA is a flop cause there’s no Philip.

Hope he gets more recognition cause I think he’s pretty good at the whole small screen thing.
