Roger Kwok and Shaun Tam Star in “The Forgotten Day” Stars

Premiering on February 15, The Forgotten Day <失憶24小時> is a comedy starring Roger Kwok (郭晉安), Shaun Tam (譚俊彥), David Chiang (姜大衞), Grace Wong (王君馨), Zoie Tam (譚凱琪), and Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯).

The story centers around a sly refrigerator technician Chiu Tak Hing (Roger Kwok) and wealthy interior designer Mung Yat Yin (Shaun Tam), who are kidnapped together. After being rescued, Yat Yin has amnesia and forgets about the ordeal. To add to Yat Yin’s problems, his wife is missing after gathering the ransom money.  Yat Yin recruits Tak Hing to help find information about the kidnappers and his missing wife, but Tak Hing wants to locate the missing ransom money for himself while concealing his involvement with the kidnapping incident.

Meanwhile, Yat Yin hopes to regain his memories with the help of psychologist Cheung Yuet San (Roxanne Tong). As his fragmented memories slowly come back, the unexpected truth will finally reveal itself.

Roger Takes on New Acting Challenge

A complete contrast to his neurosurgeon character in The Big While Duel <白色強人>, Roger will flex his acting range as an opportunist in The Forgotten Day. When asked to describe his character, Roger shared, “It’s been awhile since I portrayed relaxed and funny characters. This time, I am playing a low-class character trying to deceive a rich man with amnesia.” On the challenges presented by his role, Roger said, “My character speaks without thinking. My dialogues come out fast, so I really needed to work well with Shaun. We rehearsed many times together before we filmed our scenes.”

When asked if Roger is worried that The Forgotten Day will not get high ratings as it is airing during the busy Lunar New Year season, Roger replied, “It is a good time for broadcast because the drama is light and fun. The audience should be attracted to it, and I hope the ratings will be good.”

  1. Interesting cast. I like Roger in light hearted roles. Shaun wasn’t so good as a humorous Justice Bao, but hopefully opposite Roger he will be better. I think the Grace and Zoie are dependable actresses and usually draw attention on screen.

  2. I thought Ali’s show beauty and the boss was premiering? Did they replace it with this?
