Vincent Wong Says “Legal Mavericks 2” Will Be More Case-Driven

Vincent Wong (王浩信) is encouraging fans of the first Legal Mavericks <踩過界> series to tune in for the sequel series, which is currently in production.

The award-winning actor, who met up with the press for the blessing ceremony of Legal Mavericks 2 recently, teased to reporters that the sequel series will be much more case-driven and suspenseful—even he is looking forward to receiving his next series of scripts.

“This is the first sequel series of my career,” he said. “Picking up this character again after two years gives me a new feeling, like a new feeling of familiarity. It turns out that Hope has always been in my blood. When you come across familiar people and familiar surroundings, he just comes out. You can just call him out.”

On working with Owen Cheung (張振朗) and Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) again, Vincent said his chemistry with his two co-stars has gotten much more “accurate”. He explained, “Reuniting with the two, I find that our chemistry is still there. In addition to the experiences we’ve accumulated in the past two years doing our own projects, I find that our fireworks have gotten better, and more accurate. I recommend this sequel if you are a fan of the first series.”

Asking to share some details about the plot of Legal Mavericks 2, Vincent said, “The first series was much more character-driven. Now that we’ve established these characters, we can delve into more interesting cases, including a case about a hermaphrodite, a family feud… and that’s it for now! I can’t say too much.”

Legal Mavericks 2 will also star Kelly Cheung (張曦雯), Paul Chun (秦沛), and Lesley Chiang (姜麗文).

    1. @bennyjr Kenneth Ma? Shaun Tam? Ruco Chan? Joel Chan? Benjamin Yuen? And others.. Can’t remember.

You know what’s funny from TVB artistes website I’ve counted there are 289 males and 268 females. Though from artistes in that list I think have left eg Chan GaLok. And like half of the male artistes in the list I’ve never seen before.
It’s strange because it feels like there’s more females than males artistes which would make sense since they do more Miss HK pageant compared to Mr HK yet there are more males? (since it seems like to be an actor in TVB you now partake into their pageants).

      1. @jcc10 The Chan GaLok I was referring to is the one that was on of the hosts in the Super Trio Maximus show – his name is still listed as a male artiste in TVB lol. I wasn’t referring to Carlos Chan though they have the same name.
