TVB Anniversary Awards 2025: “Queen of News 2” Sweeps Nine Award

TVB Anniversary Awards 2025 was held on January 2026. This year’s biggest winner is Queen of News 2 <新闻女王2 > dominated the night with nine awards including helping Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) win the Best Actress and Best Actor Award.

As one of this year’s highest rated drama, it was not a surprise Queen of News 2 won the Best Drama award. The drama also anchored winners for Best New Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Support Actor, Best TV Song, Most Popular TVB Actress in the Greater Bay Area, Most Popular TVB Actor in the Greater Area, Best Actress and Best Actor.

After 26 years in the entertainment industry Bosco the Best Actor Award while also winning Most Popular Actor in the Greater Bay Area was surprised by the win. In his winning speech, the actor said, “My mind is completely blank. TVB is where I grew up. It nurtured me. Without TVB, there would be no Bosco Wong. Thank you Mom. If you hadn’t spent so much money on me, I wouldn’t have had to work so hard filming and would have encountered so many good scripts. Let’s give Charmaine some time to talk.”

Charmaine makes history for having won the Best Actress Award four times; while also winning the Most Popular Actress in the Bay Area. In her winning speech, Charmaine thanked her fans for their support and for the opportunity to film Queen of News 2. The actress shared her hopes to work with TVB again and said, “”I really hope that Hong Kong dramas can shine in different regions and places, radiate the spirit of Hong Kong dramas, and bring glory to Hong Kong.”
