Karena Ng Visits Raymond Lam in China
After completing the filming of wuxia drama Lu Xiaofeng and Hua Manlou <陸小鳳與花滿樓>, Raymond Lam (林峯) took a quick break to witness his brother’s university commencement ceremony in southern California. The actor-singer also brought his current girlfriend, Karena Ng (吳千語), with him to the graduation, maintaining their high-profile relationship.
Raymond soon returned to mainland China to shoot The First Empress <大汉贤后卫子夫>, a NowTV-produced historical drama about the early life of Han empress Wei Zifu. The drama started principal photography on May 31. Two days ago, Karena was seen arriving at the Hong Kong International Airport with Raymond’s The First Empress costar, Niki Chow (周麗淇). The 19-year-old starlet did not deny she had just returned from a visit to Raymond’s film set in Hengdian World Studios, saying, “I’ve said before that [we] will try to see each other more often if we have time. I am on break right now.”
Asked if she was worried about temptress mainland women, Karena expressed her absolute trust in Raymond, exclaiming, “I’m not worried!” She also admitted that if time permits, she would visit Raymond on set again.
Karena dismissed the reports indicating that she was a gold digger, “I will not respond to these false reports. Time will prove everything.”

Like some users pointed out in page 1, I don’t think Raymond looks handsome. Quite frankly, I think he is lucky to be with Karena. Why?
1. He always works, very little time to be with her (despite the massive evidence of them flirting and traveling together the past few months). No girl likes to be alone all-the-time.
2. Age (he’s 33, he starting to age, I notice wrinkles on his face. If I was young like Karena, I would pick a much younger boyfriend)
3. Facially lacking (compared with many other artistes, Raymond doesn’t have the wow factor. He’s not CHOK and his chin is severely curved. His forehead is too broad and his eyelids were fixed. And, yes, he had a nose job).
4. All the negative criticism (Ray pretty much knows that his girlfriend will be bashed. I have a feeling that’s why he buys her all these bags as a sign of appeasement. It’s his fault that she is labelled as a gold digger, he’s spoiling her to lure her into not leaving. Who will be stupid to not receive all these bags/car if somebody VOLUNTARILY gives it to you?)
Re to point 4 – Then Ray is stupid! But, at the same time though, Karena shouldn’t receive all these gifts. She is NOT his wife yet, just girlfriend, I would feel uneasy if my boyfriend bought me all these things. UNLESS, she did beg him to buy her all these luxuries. That would mean she is a gold digger.

I’m not a great fan or hater of LF. First saw him way back during A Step Into The Past (which I watched because of Louis Koo). Over the years, saw his face change – used to have ‘flat’ features and square jaw which made him look manlier.
But even if he had plastic surgery, there’s nothing to get uptight about cos it’s his face and his self-esteem/image. If he felt confident with surgery to enhance what he deemed as imperfection, he’s not hurting anyone.
