Karena Ng Visits Raymond Lam in China
After completing the filming of wuxia drama Lu Xiaofeng and Hua Manlou <陸小鳳與花滿樓>, Raymond Lam (林峯) took a quick break to witness his brother’s university commencement ceremony in southern California. The actor-singer also brought his current girlfriend, Karena Ng (吳千語), with him to the graduation, maintaining their high-profile relationship.
Raymond soon returned to mainland China to shoot The First Empress <大汉贤后卫子夫>, a NowTV-produced historical drama about the early life of Han empress Wei Zifu. The drama started principal photography on May 31. Two days ago, Karena was seen arriving at the Hong Kong International Airport with Raymond’s The First Empress costar, Niki Chow (周麗淇). The 19-year-old starlet did not deny she had just returned from a visit to Raymond’s film set in Hengdian World Studios, saying, “I’ve said before that [we] will try to see each other more often if we have time. I am on break right now.”
Asked if she was worried about temptress mainland women, Karena expressed her absolute trust in Raymond, exclaiming, “I’m not worried!” She also admitted that if time permits, she would visit Raymond on set again.
Karena dismissed the reports indicating that she was a gold digger, “I will not respond to these false reports. Time will prove everything.”

MW – and as we all know, the winners usually have some big sponsors behind them, and it is not a completely fair competition, just kind of disappointed at the quality of the participants each year and most of the time, these winners are not even natural “beauty”, and if they were, they wont be later on cuz they will usually get some works done to them to enhance what they have, and wassup with these TVB actresses lately with their fake eyelashes, their eyes have too much make up, so un-natural, Geez to have a TVB scene of them waking up from bed and have all those eye-make up on them is so unreal? have anyone else notice those long eyelashes? they need to tone it down on the eye stuff
Agreed, “natural” and “healthy” is best. It’s sad that so many woman fall for marketing of plastic surgery, botox, etc. They end up looking so freaky sometimes.
It’s good for woman to make themselves presentable but there should be something more solid than just looks at the foundation/core.

Many famous/wealthy parents/families have very beautiful daughters but not many enter pageants. Maybe because they know better? 🙂

Every time I see her, I get reminded of how stupid and foolish Raymond is acting. His career and reputation is going down the drain as a reason of her. Hope she has no good ending with Raymond.
He’s kinda following the footsteps of his good pal Ron. Ron was so famous for a time and even became a singer before Ray did, but look at him now, TVB totally doesn’t care about Ron now and only uses him as a back up Siu Sung when the top ones like Ray or Moses is not available.
Their news again.. seems like Ray solely suffering isn’t enough. Hope the following comes true:
Wish he does get married with Karena. However, the children they have belong to another person (she’s a party girl, not surprising).
Knowing that once the truth finds out, she won’t get a penny, Karena hires people to murder his family. Ray inherits all of his father’s wealth.
Next, they divorce and Ray loses all of his money to her. He abuses her and he consequently goes to jail. Inside the prison, he gets beaten up every-day. Later on he learns that his family didn’t die of accident but because of her. He loses his family and all of his wealth and his dad’s business TO HER. That would be the best punishment for him.
That’s very poisonous and black-heart but I can see it happening….. If that did happen god forbid, he will regret for the rest of his life. That’s possibly the worst torment for any person…
I only wish they break up and Ray continues to act good dramas/sing nice songs.

I remember reading suggestions regarding the modification of the current system not too long ago. Eg, users need to log in via Facebook only can they comment here to prevent persons from using multiple usernames to comment. Unfortunately this suggestion was rejected. This is not the first time where comments have gotten out of hand. I don’t think it takes several weeks to do some changes. For example, they could enforce word captcha or something. People who post inappropriate comments could be warned about it as well. Sites who use wordpress has enforced word captcha or word moderation.
Or even better, don’t post any more Raymond Lam & karena Ng articles. Everyone who has been on the site has seen the nasty comments.
I don’t expect huge changes, but even a simple ‘publishing comments policy’ will be better.

In terms of looks, there are much more handsome people than him, e.g. Kevin Cheng, Bosco Wong (who are all single) and they get much lesser attention than Raymond.

It is weird because from a woman’s perspective, I don’t think he is handsome. He is of course better than an average asian man, but he is still far away from the handsome category. I think he is above average (between average and handsome). After all, his look is not natural since he’s done a lot of plastic surgery.
