Lisa’s Next Project is Netflix’s “Notting Hill”

BLACKPINK’s Thai member Lisa, who signed with Hollywood talent agency WME last year, became a labelmate of Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone and paved the way for her move into Hollywood.

Shared Love for “Notting Hill”

Following her acting debut early last year in Season 3 of the hit US TV series The White Lotus, Lisa has continued to take on new acting challenges. She was recently announced to star as the sidekick to mercenary Tygo played by Don Lee, alongside Ma Dong-seok and Lee Jin-wook — stars of South Korea’s blockbuster The Outlaws series — for anticipated Netflix action thriller TYGO.

Today, Netflix officially announced that Lisa will also star in a romcom adaptation inspired by the 1999 classic love story Notting Hill, which starred Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. The new film will be written by in-demand American screenwriter Katie Silberman, who was reportedly engaged after Lisa and The White Lotus producer David Bernad teamed up.

The original Notting Hill captures the heartwarming romantic arc between a famous actress and an ordinary bookstore owner.

In addition, BLACKPINK will be releasing a mini album titled DEADLINE on the 27th of this month, with the just-unveiled tracklist featuring five songs in total — last year’s release JUMP, along with GO, Me and My, Champion, and Fxxxboy.
