“Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce 3)” Undergoes Cast and Director Changes?

TV Chosun’s dramatic portrayal of marriage life Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce 3) season 2 ended with a mysterious cliffhanger. The cast induced heated discussions with their intense chemistry and performances. Despite raking in good ratings, sudden reports of the lead cast and main director stepping down caused bewilderment.

Actors Sung Hoon, Lee Tae Gon, and Kim Bo Yeon, who starred in two consecutive seasons, were rumored to leave the show. South Korean media YTN also claimed actress Lee Hye Sook will be replacing Bo Yeon in playing the young stepmother. However, TV Chosun denied it was the case, and stated the actors have yet to withdraw from season 3.

In addition, director Yoo Jung Joon is also reported to leave the crew and be replaced with Go Sang Won. While the actors and director involved have not directly responded to the matter, rumors of these changes undoubtedly plant doubt in viewers’ minds over the upcoming season, as the original cast’s engaging performances were a major reason for the successful ratings.

Despite the uncertainties, hopefully Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce 3) could be released as scheduled during Spring 2022 and give closure on the characters’ fates.
