Nicholas Tse Becomes the Boss of a Listed Company

Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) has become the largest single shareholder in the publicly-listed See Corporation, holding 23.42 percent of the company’s share capital. The See Corporation is an entertainment company that produces film, television dramas, and manages celebrities, including Annie Man (文頌嫻) and Kathy Chow (周汶錡). Reportedly, Nicholas sold 60 percent of his own private company, Post Production Office Group, to See Corporation for $122.5 million HKD.

On October 23, See Corporation suspended its shares from trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at $0.38 HKD per share before it relisted again the following day. After Nicholas reportedly purchased 250 million shares of the company for $0.35 HKD, the shares jumped from $0.35 HKD to $0.80 HKD apiece, doubling Nicholas’ earnings.

Rumors say that Nicholas may be using See Corporation to back-door list his own company, Post-Production. See Corporation Chairman Hoffman Ma (馬浩文) did not respond to the rumors. Mani Fok (霍汶希), Nicholas’ manager, said she will not comment on Nicholas’ own private investments. Albert Yeung (楊受成), Chairman of Nicholas’ management company EEG, expressed that he is very happy and supportive of Nicholas’ business choices.

The 34-year-old actor and singer has not only earned a good reputation from his talents and hard work, but also for his smart attitude and business choices. Nicholas is recognized for his leadership experience and management philosophy.
