HK Celebs and Their “Barbie” Representations
Surpassing $800 million at the worldwide box office since its July 20 premiere, the latest trend in the global Barbie craze inspired by the Mattel hit is an AI-generated filter which allows customized selection of hair color, skin color and even race, to create a Barbie Doll version based on one’s image.
Celebrities including many from Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG) artistes had the viral filter applied to unexpected results – perhaps due to their strong features, some artistes ended up with the real McCoy looking more attractive than their Barbie/Ken versions, while some male artistes appeared to have morphed entirely into other celebrities. I mean to be fair it is an American product? They also did have East Asian representation in Simu Liu in the movie.
Since the half the world is going woke…I am think Barbie may too… Barbie is huge in Asian… Thus I did wonder if it is worth investing to launch various Asian Barbie as the next business strategy…

At first glance I thought the Nicholas one was Joel Chan lol. Sammy’s looks a bit like Josh Duhamel. Nikki’s reminds me of Wu Xuanyi. I still have not watched the movie.
