Kelly Cheung, Him Law Dominate with 3 Dramas Each

According to the 2026 TVB Mid-Year Program Presentation, flagship dramas tentatively scheduled for release are War of the Roses <玫瑰戰爭>, Imitation of Life <模仿人生>, Under the Table <枱底人生>, The Model Lawyers <模範律師團>, Flight Diaries II <飛常日誌II>, The Big Boss Cop <警是個大佬>, This City Never Sleeps <璀璨之城> and Exorcism Express <驅魔速遞>, with Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) and Him Law (羅子溢) lined up with three dramas each, making them the drama “queen” and “king” of the upcoming season.

Him Law Cherishes Every Acting Opportunity

Him Law, who has three dramas on hand — Imitation of Life, The Big Boss Cop and Under the Table — making him one of the most heavily featured male leads in the upcoming lineup added that TVB’s drama production volume now seems to have returned to previous levels, Him said that he would not complain even if he felt tired or had less time to spend with his children, as he believed every opportunity should be cherished.

On his wife, Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯), also having a new drama coming up, Him revealed, “My wife has also been wanting to return to work for a long time. It will be my turn to take on both the father and mother roles, and I’ll also have to be the tutor. The boss — my wife — will assign the tasks. We have a staff group chat for the family, where my wife assigns duties to my mother-in-law, my mum and our domestic helper. In fact, everyone is helping one another. We try not to make the elderly work too hard. My wife also told me not to run around after finishing filming,”

Kelly Cheung Becomes the Drama Queen with Three Series

Kelly Cheung, who has three dramas lined up, revealed that in two of them, she works with co-star Alice Chan (陳煒). In The Model Lawyers, both will play lawyers, and the story will focus more on legal cases with fewer romantic storylines, and Kelly added that both characters would be “competing for clients, not for men”.

Kelly also cherishes the chance to work with Gallen Lo (羅家良), who plays her mentor in the drama, and looks forward to learning from him. The newly single actress, asked if she was ready for dating, revealed that her friends, who recently celebrated her birthday for her, were more worried about her love life than she was, and that she prefers to “let things happen naturally”.

Moses Chan Only Has One Drama This Year

Best Actor winner Moses Chan (陳豪), who only has War of the Roses, will make a rare appearance alongside Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) in a new food variety show, in which they will explore iconic cuisines of the Greater Bay Area.

On having only one drama coming up, Moses joked that it was about quality over quantity, and denied rumors that he might leave TVB due to his being relegated to the right rather than the middle in the station’s 2025 annual report. In the drama, he plays an entertainment tycoon, and described the entertainment industry as complicated.

Owen Cheung, (張振朗) who has not appeared in public for some time, denies being shelved or frozen, adding that he had been going for Hyrox with buddies Brian Chu (朱敏瀚) and Kalok Chow (周嘉洛), and pointed to his new drama, Imitation of Life, in which he works with Anita Yuen (袁詠儀).

Currently touring in mainland China with Edwin Siu (蕭正楠) and Raymond Cho (曹永廉), Kenneth Ma (馬國明) was asked if he was intending to explore the direction of becoming a singer. Kenneth joked that he was merely “tagging along” and learning from his two pals who were “more professional”. Since he did not know much about anything, he did not dare to give opinions, adding that his singing still had room for improvement.
