  1. Jayne, are you drunk when making this pool, you make a mistake . Great Way to Care Wes made in 2009.

    1. WHB was made in 2009 and only released in 2011. The criteria is broadcast date = 2011, then it is 2011.

  2. Well, GWTC was released and broadcasted overseas in 2009, but I think Jayne’s range is of the dates in 2009.

    1. This list count the broadcast date in HK. GWTC is only broadcasted in HK in 2011.

  3. I hope more people should watch Til Love Do Us Lie. I think it’s the best sitcom they’ve had in a while.

    1. Does it pick up later on? I have some time these days so I began watching a few episodes. I’m on episode 8 now and it’s still very lame. I find Be Home For Dinner more enjoyable and it picked up instantly for me. The new sitcom seems to have less people and I’ve never been a huge fan of Eddie Cheung or any of the actors. Kiki is humorous, but the cast for Be Home For Dinner was actually better with Stephen Au, Crystal Tin, Celine Ma, etc.

      1. I agree. I also randomly watched episode 38 nd it was still very slow and boring. Be Home for Dinner was far more upbeat and entertaining (imo, still not as good as Off Pedder or Some Day – its unofficial predecessors)

    2. agreed! i’m really enjoying TLDUL. lots of fresh faces and it’s a pretty good comedy. you’re right though, a lot of tvb’s sitcoms have been medicore lately. best one to date was best selling secrets. even off pedder started to go downhill after the initial 100 episodes.

      1. I agree too! TLDUL is very well written. The characters are building up slowly step by step. Check out Benjamin Yuen! He is quite sexy there! (for those who watched yesterday’s episode, do yo like the pier scene?)

  4. I honestly don’t understand why Men with No Shadows is last when the story line was so original with great meaning.

  5. Bottled Passion and its casts are #1 in almost every category.

    1. And they deserve it!!! Overall it’s my number one pick for 2011.

  6. I was just wondering if BP is being telecast in the Oct slot, will the history of TVB 2011 Awards in HK be rewritten???
Will the drama clinch some awards?
Will Niki and Raymond be able to stand up to Kevin and Moyolie for the best artiste award, etc??

  7. come on! ghetto justice already won so many award..why can’t give it to other shows? like give them a chance. BP is so much nicer than any of the shows here.

  8. Seriously? Ghetto justice has a few nice moments but overall it doesn’t even come close to BP.

  9. BP & GJ neck to neck in the race, how exciting!
GJ, to me was a little boring and slow in the middle. I skipped a few episodes.
But for BP, I was like being possessed and could’nt wait to finish the whole serial.

  10. frankly isn’t it kinda unfair for Bottled Passion. because ghetto justice has a more more famed cast, and its been aired longer so more recognition for them, and they already won awards I LOVE BOTTLED PASSION ALL THE WAY!. bottled passion is kinda like the underdogs ! go underdogs

    1. No, it’s not unfair. In fact, BP has the best advantage because it’s recently finished airing. Viewers’ emotion towards the series has not subside. Viewers still have great feelings toward TBS and Tsui Sum’s romance.

It’s to Ghetto Justice’s credit that it still can sustain audience’s love after so long. GJ was aired early last year.

      1. 🙂 true , but still kevin cheng is wayy more popular than raymond wong

  11. Cable vision is now showing TOT and GJ was shown a couple of weeks ago…I was kinda rewatching them.
So they also have some advantages not only BP.
BUt BP strike a special cord in me and I think it is a pre-modern. SO kinda more romantic and dynamic.

  12. Sentinel has been broadcasting in Korea since late Dec. Sentinel is scheduled to broadcast in Taiwan sometime in Feb. Wonder how Sentinel fared with the Korean tv audience?

    1. Steven’s series seldom get broadcasted on Taiwan tvbs channel. So this is a treat to SM Taiwan fans.

  13. I love Bottled Passion too! But just wondering…I think it’s considered a 2012 drama since it wasn’t on the TVB Awards and it ended broadcasting in 2012.. It’s not really fair. just saying

    1. It will be part of selection in 2012 TVB awards voting process if its nominated. honestly, will the audience ever remember B.P. regardless it has a suckie ending.

      1. Good question. I believe not since it will be like more than half a year to the awards and by then there will be newer fresher series.
