I was hoping for an entirely new action drama as Donnie Yen’s first lead role in Hollywood. Oh well, at least David Leitch is attached to direct so it’s a good sign. Here’s hoping for a good overall movie.

Ip Man 5 will most likely be set before part 1. Wouldn’t make sense otherwise.

Misjudgement and Flash Point: Resurgence sounds more promising though. Donnie should stick to contemporary action movies for the remaining years he’s got left physically.

Sounds like the same premise of part 2 except vice versa. Now it’s a foreigner that is an enemy-turned friend and a fellow Chinese a friend-turned enemy.

Donnie is a perfect example of middle-aged men maintaining energy through determination and regular physical training. I wish I could say the same about Jet Li.
