Him Law Signs With TVB

Since his debut in 2005, Him Law (羅子溢) has been blessed with many opportunities and increasing success in the entertainment industry. After a smooth start starring in memorable TVB roles, Him later transitioned to making several commercially successful films and entered the Chinese market. Recently, Him has returned to his Hong Kong roots and filmed several dramas for TVB.

Due to his growing family with Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯), Him is allegedly hoping to stay more local and be able to spend more time together. He reportedly signed a management contract with TVB after his contract with Filmko ended, despite his former company’s impressive offers.

After concluding filming obligations for After Marriage <婚後事> with Yoyo Chen (陳自瑤), Him will be starring in several highly anticipated sequels this year, including Rosy Business 4 (巾幗梟雄之懸崖) and Kids’ Lives Matter 2 <星空下的仁醫2>.

  1. he left TVB for a better pay, now he back in this chaotic station all I can think of is TVB will be planning to give him the Best Actor Award in the upcoming years so he can finally matched up to he wife.

    1. Not everything is about money. He has 2 young kids now in Hong Kong which is more important to him. I’m glad that he is doing his daddy duties to stay closer to be with his wife and kids. Kids grow up quickly and need their parents with them at this young age.

  2. It’s better to be a big fish in a small pond than a small fish in the huge ocean of Chinese entertainment. China has so much young talent.

  3. Happy that he’s picking his country and family over the blood ccp money 😛 Then again I’m sure they’re fine financially with Tavia as his wife…But good for him either way.

  4. he is just average actor… maybe the China market don’t need him so he sign back with TVB

  5. Don’t know what’s going on with him or Benjamin Yuen the past few years… they both wear so much make up, they look so plastic and dry and just weird. That aside, I think it’s nice of him to stay close to his wife and kids even though TVB doesn’t pay much. I haven’t seen his work outside of TVB so I don’t know if he even has a market or many opportunities outside of TVB anyway.

Lastly, I’m looking forward to the series with Yoyo but none of the other sequels… Rosy Business 4 and Kids Lives Matters 2. Enough with these continuations already. This is why TVB is declining. No creativity whatsoever. Just keep doing part 1, 2, 3, 4 etc etc. Like right now watching Brutally Young 2.0. Totally unrelated to part 1. Why is this even called part 2?? So stupid.
