Jessica Hsuan’s Coronavirus Scare
Today, Jessica Hsuan (宣萱) finally returned to work after resting for nine days. She resumed filming Armed Reaction 2020 <陀槍師姐2020> with costars Benz Hui (許紹雄) and Him Law (羅仲謙) following a coronavirus scare. Although Jessica tested negative for the coronavirus, she had an upper respiratory infection that caused her to cough.
The 49-year-old revealed her doctor initially just prescribed her antibiotics because she didn’t have a fever, body ache, or cough. However, she felt weak and began coughing after taking the medicine. Seeing that she had two symptoms of the coronavirus, Jessica was very scared and immediately went to see the doctor again. The doctor agreed to test Jessica for the virus because of her frantic look.
“If I went to work and spread the germs, the impact would’ve been great,” the actress expressed. “I did the test so I could feel more at ease. The doctor drew my blood immediately for a quick test, and it turned out to be just a scare.”
She continued, “But there are many people on the filming set, so I’m still scared. We can’t wear masks while filming, so it’s a big problem. We’re really worried in this regard. We can only see what policies the government will implement afterward.”
However, Jessica would wear a mask and drink lemon honey tea when she’s not working to prevent getting sick.
Benz said that while he is calm and lax on the surface, he is very tense and troubled on the inside. However, he’s not as nervous as Jessica. “I don’t socialize much, so I usually stay at home when I’m not working,” Benz shared.
