Rosita Kwok to Star With Ali Lee in “Mahjong Orchestra”
Miss Hong Kong 2020 second runner-up, Rosita Kwok (郭柏妍), had tremendous opportunities in the past four years. Outshining even pageant winner Lisa Tse (謝嘉怡) and first runner-up Celina Harto (陳楨怡), Rosita’s breakout performance in comedy Get on a Flat <下流上車族> resulted in her Most Improved Actress win. On an unstoppable run, Rosita subsequently appeared in Big White Duel 2 (白色强人II), Narcotic Heroes (破毒强人), and The Queen of News (新聞女王), and had the chance to collaborate with big name actors such as Moses Chan (陳豪) and Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼).
Rosita’s upcoming project will be Mahjong Orchestra <麻雀樂團>, which also stars Ali Lee (李佳芯) and Shaun Tam (譚俊彥). Portraying Shaun’s daughter in the drama, Rosita is excited for the chance to work with Shaun and Ali. “I always watched and kept up with their dramas. I feel very fortunate and lucky to have the opportunity to work with them,” Rosita said excitedly.
To prepare for her role, Rosita has to learn how to play a new instrument. “I hope to let the audience see a new side of me and can see my improvements. I’m also really looking forward to filming this project.”
With regards to being heavily promoted TVB, Rosita expressed, “I’m very thankful and appreciative to the company for giving me so many opportunities to film different dramas. I’ll work hard and do my best to hone my acting skills and continue improving.”

Yeah, Ali is in a drama at last,
I am not sure what it is but I do not see her as an actress yet. Performer? Maybe, but pushing it. It is certain roles she can do. I think TVB is trying SO hard to groom her to the next Linda Chung or something.
I believe that tvb try to make her the next Eliza Sam 岑麗香… At least she is watchable, better than Sisley Choi
Yes, can totally see Eliza in her, although Rosita canto is way better…Totally forgot about Lisa as well, guess she rip.
You are right, Rosita is Eliza while Tiffany Lau is more the Linda Chung successor but just a more athletic version!
