South Korean drama Eve has premiered and fans are already intrigued by its intricate revenge-focused plot along with seeing Seo Ye Ji’s return to the small screen following her fallout of her relationship scandal. The drama also has a star-studded cast that consist of Park Byung Eun, Lee Sang Yeob and Yoo Sun.
In the melodrama, Seo Ye Ji plays Lee Ra El, a young girl with a perfect family until one day she witnesses the death of her father. Over the span of 13 years, Lee Ra El vows to destroy those who are responsible for her family’s downfall and executes a divorce scheme that becomes the talk of the nation.
Park Byung Eun stars as Kang Yoon Gyeom, and is believed to be responsible for Lee Ra El’s family tragedy. After meeting Lee Ra El, Kang Yoon Gyeom falls deeply in love but unbeknownst to him, he has stepped into a dangerous revenge plot.
Yoo Sun stars as Kang Yoon Gyum’s wife Han So Ra. Although Han So Ra appears to have the perfect life, she is constantly feeling anxious over her relationship with her husband. In her life, everything must be perfect and she will not accept anything less.
Lee Sang Yeob plays Seo Eun Pyung, a young assemblyman with a bright future. Despite his success with his career, Seo Eun Pyung will give up everything for love and he becomes Lee Ra El’s biggest supporter.
Eve’s premiere has provided a taste of the intricate plot that is filled with twists and turns. Sharing his thoughts on the drama, director Park Bong Sub revealed, “The story follows a woman who has experienced her life collapsing due to powerful forces. In the process of taking her revenge, she will bring a counterattack that is more painful than death. Please look forward to the broadcast of this work.”
