Seo Ye Ji Considers Drama Comeback After Scandal
South Korean actress, Seo Ye Ji, is in talks to star in a new melodrama, Eve’s Scandal, five months after she was exposed for being a controlling girlfriend and forbidding her boyfriend and actor, Kim Jung Hyun, from interacting with his female co-stars.
The drama follows a conglomerate family’s extra-marital affairs and their 2 trillion won divorce lawsuit that have rocked the entire nation. With a release date in the first half of 2022, the drama has already gained attention among industry insiders for its solid and well-written script.
Seo Ye Ji has reportedly been offered to play the female lead who sits in the center of the lawsuit. Although the character grew up with a genius father and a beautiful mother, she has an unhappy childhood and learned to use her dangerous charms to get what she wants.
A source from the drama’s television network confirmed that they have provided the actress with the script and are waiting for her response; however, Seo Ye Ji’s agency shared that the actress is currently in discussion to join the cast. If accepted, the drama will be the actress’ major comeback since she took a hiatus and was forced to drop out from upcoming thriller Island.
