“The Marvels” Release Character Posters

Gearing up for its release on November 10, The Marvels released the latest character posters featuring Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris, and Samuel L. Jackson. While Park Seo Joon had an individual poster, netizens are dismayed by his hairstyle. Others remain supportive and look forward to his performance, commenting, “He is still handsome, stop criticizing.”

The movie brings together three characters from the Marvel universe, Brie as Captain Marvel; Tenoyah as Rambeau from WandaVision; and Iman as Kamala from Ms. Marvel  Park Seo Joon plays the alien Prince Yan and will have scenes with Brie Larson.

In the trailer, Captain Marvel is reunited with former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury, only to find she is suddenly transported to a different place. It turns out that she, Captain Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel’s fates are intertwined and they now have the ability to switch places with one another. Ms. Marvel demonstrates this in her living room and the next second she finds herself falling through the sky!

The trailer also introduces the main villain, the Kree warrior Daben, who inherited Ronan the Accuser’s war hammer. It also shows Captain Marvel’s transformation from a lone wolf to a member of a team joined by the alien cat group led by Goose.

Brie shared, “It took us some time to understand quantum entanglement but we discovered that as long as we use power at the same time, we can swap places. It may be to another planet or another galaxy. The distance is not important. What is important is that we are closely connected.” Director Nia DaCosta agreed, “I think the combination of the three major female powers will be very exciting. That’s why I couldn’t refuse the opportunity to direct this film!”

  1. to asians he might not look good but to non-asians, they probably think that’s what asians should look like. asians need to have make-up artists/stylists who can do asian faces.
