Bosco Wong Denies Dating Bella Lam
When Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) announced the end of their 8-year relationship last July, it broke the hearts of their faithful fans. The Hong Kong media claimed that Bosco had secretly been involved with 20-year old actress, Bella Lam (林穎彤), for two years.
Bosco is Overly Friendly with Female Costars
When Bosco was in mainland China filming for Women on the Breadfruit Tree <麵包樹上的女人>, he was seen cozying up to his co-stars, Liu Yan (柳岩) and Tiffany Tang (唐嫣). Despite Bosco’s overly friendly advances with many female co-workers over the years, Myolie disregarded the rumors and continued her relationship with Bosco.
However, Myolie reportedly had the last straw when Bosco was secretly pursuing Bella during their collaboration in Lives of Omission <潛行狙擊>. When Bosco was filming for Lives of Omission, it was said that Kate Tsui (徐子珊) was the third party, however, Myolie found out later that it was really Bella who took initiative in talking to Bosco on the set despite not having any scenes together. Even though she was a junior, Bella was brave enough to approach Bosco under the pretext of wanting to gain some acting advice. It was also seen that Bosco did not reject Bella’s bold advances.
Bella Named Herself: Bosco’s Baby
In the initial stages of the breakup, Bosco attempted to win back Myolie’s heart, but during that time, he had yet to cut all ties with Bella, causing Myolie to finally give up on Bosco. An insider reported, “Bella started telling people that she was Bosco’s official girlfriend now and even nicknamed herself Borbor-B!” Borbor, pointed out by others, was the short form of Bosco’s name, and by attaching baby at the end, Bella plainly implied that she was Bosco’s new baby.
Bella accepted an interview last month and when asked about dating artists within the entertainment circle, she replied that everyone is too busy to start an actual relationship. On dating rumors with Bosco, Bella hesitantly replied, “What? How did you find out? Well, I wouldn’t say it’s dating…So, no. No we haven’t dated.” However, Bella admitted that she has gone out with Bosco before, but she chose her nickname due to her round face and is not related to Bosco.
Bosco Thinks the Rumors are Disgusting
On the gossip of Bosco’s new flame, he said that he has not been in contact with Bella since the filming of Lives of Omission and that they were not close. Bosco said, “I don’t really know what others call themselves. I’m happy that everyone’s concerned about my love life, but I don’t want to affect other people with this kind of rumor. I think Bosco’s ok. His acting is ok and he looks ok. Sounds more like this Bella girl is looking for some publicity. Also, when a relationship ends, both sides have to take some responsibility. Maybe Myolie secretly cheated on Bosco but Bosco being a gentleman decides not to say anything in order to save Myolie’s good girl image. Or maybe Myolie is just plain boring and Bosco just wanted to have some fun. Or maybe they just decided they’re not right for each other. There was another article that stated that, some things are purposely not translated just for fabricated news. Anyways when that episode of Super Trio airs then you’ll know. Besides he prob only meant going out as friends. My sister is married and she goes out with other guys too just as friends nothing wrong with that and not does her husband cares. If you trust your partner then it shouldn’t be a problem. Don’t be overprotective of your other half it’s not healthy. When i was young (like 17), i did that without thinking, and the boyfriend did get mad if i didnt let him know, and at that time, i didnt understand as well, but after some other boyfriend did that some years later, i got upset.
Actually, I have but it did not last long and it was because he was too possessive and wanted to track my every move that it upset me. He was too traditional while I am more open and westernized. I personally don’t think it is a big deal to hang out with some guys as long as it isn’t anything too intimate. I don’t think having dinner/lunch is a big deal while really traditional people would see it as a big deal. I guess it just depends on each individual and what they think and feel…
To me, trust and honesty goes hand in hand – if you know that person is honest you would trust him/her because he/she would not lie/cheat you. Loyalty and respect is also important. If one is not loyal (no sense of responsibility/commitment towards their partner), when there is temptation, they would most prolly betray their partner.
Respect is sometimes confused with ‘scared’. Some partners respect and cares enough about their partners’ feelings, hence they would tell their partner if they’re going out with a person of opposite sex on a one-to-one basis; not because they’re scared of their partner being angry, but respect them enough to let them know (especially for long-distance relationship or when both parties do not live nearby each other and only get to meet once in a while).
When we choose to commit ourself to one partner, informing them of our whereabouts should not be felt as a burden. It is to show appreciation that we are aware our partner would be worried and cares about our well-being when they’re not around with us.
However, those insecure partners who always need reassurances and calls every 5 seconds (u know what i mean) are a real pain. If you can’t stand clingy people like that, better to part ways before it starts gnawing on your nerves.
When there is no trust between partners, it’s better to part ways (like Myolie & Bosco) as it would be very heartbreaking to continue on.
I don’t really buy it… Bella’s answer is terrible, hence fueling speculations. Chance to get some attention?

Yen you have to understand as contracted artistes there are certain things they are not allow to say especially when it comes to their love affairs. I know many celebrities who say they’re single but they’re really dating someone. 1) What Bella has stated might only be a one-sided crush.
2) “went out” does not mean went out on a date. There might be another group of friends and colleagues present.

4)About the ‘running away from home’ remark, it’s apparent that it was during Bosco’s childhood/teenage years when he was still living with his parents, as Eric was quoted as saying that he was running away to “play with Myolie”, not running away from Myolie.
5)Regarding him inviting the opposite sex on a date without telling his other half, how sure are you that it’s Myolie? Was Myolie his only girlfriend? I highly doubt. Again, this remark may be misquoted or lost in translation. A hangout/get-together is not equivalent to a date. We have to wait and see when the episode comes out.
