Ada Choi Shares More About Birthing Experience in New Clip

At 46 years old, Ada Choi (蔡少芬) welcomed her third child, a baby boy, with husband Max Zhang (張晉). Today, Max shared a clip of Ada just moments before she was about to give birth in the hospital. Apparently, Ada had wanted to deliver their son on the 19th, but she was already in labor.

On why chose the 19th, Max said, “It’s just easier to remember.”

Ada’s close friend and neighbor, Monica Chan (陳法蓉), was also present. Monica had driven Max to the hospital, and decided to stay to give the couple some additional help. Because Ada won’t be allowed to shower and wash her hair for another month, Ada did it all at one go before she was to be taken to the delivery room.

When Ada was getting wheeled to the deliver room, she briefly asked her husband if he felt nervous. Although it was already their third time, Max said he still felt nervous, and joked that he may faint and the nurses would have to save him first.

Max was there to cut the baby’s umbilical cord, and even took a family portrait. “She’s worked hard, and I admire what she can do. That’s why men should not compare themselves to women about who is more worthy. It is definitely the mother.”
