Stacey Chan Wins Miss Hong Kong 2025

The Miss Hong Kong 2025 pageant was held on August 31st. Despite the fierce competition, Stacey Chan (陳詠詩) was crowned as the winner, with Angela Stanton (施宇琪) named runner-up, and Jane Yuan (袁文靜) taking second runner-up.

The night featured performer was Hong Kong singer Hins Cheung (張敬軒) who kicked off the pageantry by singing his new song, Deadline while the 14 contestants walked out to introduce themselves.

During the swimsuit question-and-answer segment, Angela drew laughter from the audience with her response to her question – “What would you do with your date left midway into a dinner and the bill is $80,000?” Angela replied that she would ask her boss for help with the payment while adding that she was prepared to split the cost with her future dates.

Pageant Victoria Lee (李尹嫣) took home two awards, Miss Friendship and Miss Photogenic. While Victoria was a strong favourite to be crowned as the champion, the award ultimately went to 26-years old Stacey.

Stacey Impresses with Her Background

As this year’s winner, Stacy’s education background was praised for having graduated from the University of California Berkeley and then obtaining a masters from Columbia University

Not only is she one of the most educated contestant this year, but Stacey is also an accomplished athlete who joined the Hong Kong Rhythmic Gymnastics Teams when she was 10-years old. 1. 2nd runner up is such a joke. Even she herself was shock when she got into top 5. The audiences were shock as well. Number 1 Victoria should be 2nd runner up instead

    1. I do not think she was bad but there was a lot better. Here is where I think things went wrong: the judges bias. During her bikini Q and A, she said she had 3 moles on her lips, which means she’s eloquent and quick witted and she was trying to add that she speaks 3 different languages. BUT the judges interrupted her telling her to keep put the fake mole somewhere on her face. It is honestly impressive that she learnt that much Cantonese in so little time. I genuinely feel bad for Vivian Zhuang—her Cantonese is very broken too but she got so much hate where as Jane got so much love. No one under the age of 26 or with anything below a Masters was gonna make it in to top 3 this year. For that reason, it’s shocking someone 5’9” with a Masters and a such a beautiful figure did not even make the top 5 when she was voted consistently at the top—Vivian. I think it’s her lack of international flavor and modern appeal. She was a traditional Chinese woman through and through. All winners were independent, extraverted or have some sort of international exposure, plus spoke up more/louder voice.

  2. Winner #9 was almost a guarantee given her smile, confidence, and close ties.
First runner up should’ve been #1
    Second runner up should’ve been #4: she’s 5’11”, looks like a combo of Anne Heung/Kelly Cheung/Cherrie Ying

Angela Staton can be top 5 only not placed
Jane Yuan can be top 5 too if you force my hand
