Park Hyung Sik and Park Gyu Young Star in “A Proper Romance”

Netflix has shared details of its upcoming drama, A Proper Romance. Starring Park Hyung SIk and Park Gyu Young, the drama follows two young adults who had clashed during their time in the military and are later reunited in a workplace setting

In the office rom-com, Park Hyung Sik plays an arrogant CEO of a startup company. Believing he has escaped his past behind, he is startled to encounter his former military tormentor working as his subordinate.  Park Hyung Sik is no stranger to the romance genre and is known for work in  Strong Girl Bong-soon, Happiness, and Doctor Slump.

Meanwhile, Park Gyu Young plays a former Special Forces soldier and built a reputation earning her a nickname “Viper.” She was Park Hyung Sik’s senior in the military but when they meet again, she is working under him and following his directions. Park Gyu Young is known for her roles in many of Netflix’s popular dramas including, Sweet Home, It’s Okay to Not be Okay and Squid Game.

The drama is directed by Nam Sung Woo, known for his rom-com projects such as My Lovely Liar and My Roommate Is a Gumiho. The script is written by Kim Hana whose resume include Heartbeat and My Secret Romance.
