“24 Hours of Amnesia”: Roger Kwok Gets Attacked by David Chiang
TVB’s new comedy drama 24 Hours of Amnesia <失憶24小時> took the cast to Sham Shui Po a few days ago to film a chase scene. The scene centered Roger Kwok (郭晉安), who was in Apliu Street to get his virus-ridden SD card fixed. As the SD card was holding an important piece of evidence, “John Gor” David Chiang (姜大衛) snuck up on Roger and knocked him out. Also in the scene was Elvina Kong (江欣燕), who plays Roger’s younger sister.
24 Hours of Amnesia is Roger and John Gor’s second collaboration righter after this year’s Big White Duel <白色強人>. While the two had shared many riveting scenes in the medical drama, their screen time together for 24 Hours of Amnesia is minimal at most. Roger joked that being with John Gor is a rare occasion.
Roger’s character is the brunt of everyone’s anxiety. Elvina shared that his character was also attacked by triad members carrying knives, and suffered multiple stab wounds. Joking that he’s always getting hurt for the role, Roger was asked if he had been training for his action scenes. “I don’t, that’s why I’m always getting beat up!”
Work aside, the cast also did not forget to enjoy their time off. Elvina used this opportunity to do some more shopping in Apliu Street. “It’s eye-opening here. I now know what it means to be high tech! I just purchased a new cable and power strip. I also plan on getting my phone fixed here.”
24 Hours of Amnesia also stars Shaun Tam (譚俊彥), Grace Wong (王君馨), Zoie Tam (譚凱琪), and Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯).
