Ahn Hyo Seop Confirmed for “Someday or One Day” Korean Remake

Netflix has announced actors Ahn Hyo Seop, Jeon Yeo Been, and Kang Hoon will be leading in the Korean remake of Taiwanese time travel hit series Someday or One Day <想見你>.

Titled as A Time Called You, the adaptation has been in the works since February last year. Taking care in the casting details, the lead stars were only announced last month.

A Time Called You follows Han Jun Hee still grieving over her boyfriend Ko Yeon Jun who is presumed dead from a year ago. One day, 27-year-old Jun Hee unexpectedly time travels from 2023 back to 1998. Awakened in a body and a face looking exactly like hers, Jun Hee learns that she is known as 17-year-old Kwon Min Joo. Adding to her confusion, she discovers a boy who looks exactly like Yeon Jun but he claims to be her school mate Nam Si Heon. A series of twists and turns soon follow, which make Jun Hee even more eager to uncover all the mysteries and seek truth.

Ahn Hyo Seop will be taking on Greg Hsu’s (許光漢) double roles and play Yeon Jun and Si Heon. Surging in international popularity through his performance in A Business Proposal, Hyo Seop is on the rise and experiencing great career success.

Yeo Been will be portraying Alice Ko’s (柯佳嬿) roles as Jun Hee and Min Joo. Drawing attention with her gloomy student role in After My Death, Yeo Been later gained recognition for her fiery role in Vincenzo. There is confidence that Yeo Been will be able to pull off playing two characters with opposite personalities.

Kang Hoon will be taking over Patrick Shih’s (施柏宇) role as Jung In Kyu. Garnering popularity through his performance in The Red Sleeve, there are anticipations to see him convey the character’s complex emotions involving one-sided love and guilt.
