Most Viewed Korean Dramas of 2023 So Far

As end November approaches, time is right to look back at the top-viewed K-dramas for the year – while keeping our fingers crossed for black horses to spring a surprise – just as 2022’s Reborn Rich, which had aired to impressive ratings and became one of the year’s top-rated productions!

Here are this year’s top-viewed dramas in Korea nationwide, according to Nielsen Korea:

#10. SBS Drama Revenant (11.2%)
Aired to promising ratings on Disney+, the psychological thriller starring Kim Tae Ri in a stellar performance has been described as a slow-burn and “stand-out horror”, keeping viewers hooked with its layered exploration of the horror-mystery genre.









#9. SBS Drama Payback (11.4%)
Nothing gets viewers thrilled like a big dose of revenge from the good-versus-evil story starring Lee Sun-kyun, Moon Chae-won and others, who take things into their own hands when the system fails them.









#8. JTBC Drama The Good Bad Mother (12.032%)








At just 14 episodes, the healing comedy starring Lee Do-hyun is a feel-good rural drama, delighting fans with its quirky characters and solid acting, with several twists.

#7. MBC Drama My Dearest (12.9%)








The historical drama of two lovers who meet during the Qing invasion of Joseon in the 17th century stands out with its masterful blend of romance and action; stars Ahn Eun-Jin and Namkoong Min.

#6. JTBC Drama King of Land (13.789%)








With sizzling chemistry between the leads, the rom-com starring idols Lee Jun-ho and Im Yoon-ah is entertaining fun.

#5. JTBC Drama Agency (16.044%)








Starring Lee Bo-young, Son Na-eun, Jo Sung-ha, the drama won viewers over with its story of a woman smashing glass ceiling in cut-throat industry of advertising.

#4. SBS Drama Dr Romantic 3 (16.8%)








Starring Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Sung Kyung alongside Han Suk Kyu in Doldam Hospital, the fan favorite – Dr Romantic 2 was in top 10 most-viewed dramas in 2020 – portrays warm, hopeful feels.
