Benjamin Yuen and Bowie Cheung Register Their Marriage

In September, Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) and Bowie Cheung (張寶兒) announced that they got engaged  in 2019 at Niagara Falls. While Bowie and Ben insist on waiting for the pandemic to subside before planning for their wedding celebration, the couple has already filed for their marriage registration.

Wanting to spend more time together, the couple started shopping for a bigger property to live at after marriage. After months of searching, the couple jointly purchased a 2,000-square-feet property for $66 million Hong Kong dollars in Clear Water Bay in May. Although the property came with a hefty price tag, Bowie’s father Cheung Wong Wong (張煌煌) reportedly helped out by gifting the couple HK$40 million as down payment.

While many people assumed that the couple would move into their luxurious property before their wedding day, their marriage registration suggests otherwise because Bowie and Benjamin registered different addresses on the form. Ben has listed his Clear Water Bay property as his address, while Bowie provided her address in Happy Valley. Since it is only a matter of time before the couple will move in to their new property together, many look forward to the couple starting their new life together.
