Grace Chan to Take Break During New Year Holiday

After winning Most Improved Actress at the 2015 TVB Anniversary Awards, Grace Chan (陳凱琳) continues to work without a break. At a horseracing event, Grace said she would turn to colleague, Louis Cheung (張繼聰) for tips and advice as she is unfamiliar with the sport.

Both Grace and Louis will be the new ambassadors for the upcoming New Year horseracing event. Excited that he will be a part of this new event, Louis said this is a good luck sign. “Of course winning would make me happy. Hopefully, the rest of the year would be lucky too! But it’s been great this year as well. I’ve met a lot of wonderful people, directors, and came across great filming opportunities. I had a chance to work with idol, Nick Cheung (張家輝), and partake in the filming of Ip Man 3 <葉問3>! I was given a chance to fight Donnie Yen (甄子丹). I also held my own concert – this year has been very fruitful!”

Grace Chan to Take Break Next Year

Since winning Miss Hong Kong 2013 and signing with TVB, Grace barely had enough time for her friends and family. With no series scheduled for the beginning of the New Year, Grace plans to take the opportunity and spend some quality time with her family in Hong Kong.

When asked if she would consider going on a vacation with Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Grace replied, “I’ll have to see if he’s free or not – it’s alright if he doesn’t have time, we can just have dinner.”

Since Grace’s schedule is booked until the end of the year, she only had a small celebratory dinner with her family and Kevin after winning Most Improved Actress.
