Kenneth Ma Doesn’t Mind Being a Dad
Kenneth Ma (馬國明) and Eliza Sam (岑麗香) were the image of a happy family while promoting their drama Plan B <寶寶大過天>. Kenneth lovingly held the child actress who plays his daughter in the drama, and admits that he finds children to be very cute. When Kenneth said he is not against the idea of becoming a father in real life, Kiki Sheung (商天娥) joked that his chance should come soon!
With her son born in May, Eliza reveals that the baby is starting to react to everything. She finds it heartwarming that her elder son is now learning how to share toys with his younger brother.
When teased that Kenneth should ask Eliza for conception tips, he shrugged and said he will leave it to fate. If he really needed tips, then he will ask Eliza’s husband instead!
Returning from China after attending several live events, Kenneth was asked if has made a lot of money through the jobs, but he brushed it off humbly stating that he is just trying to put food on the table. Originally planned to stay in China for a while longer, Kenneth canceled pending jobs because he received notice two weeks ago that he will be filming for a new police drama.
It is rumored that Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) was supposed to be the lead actor in Invisible Team <隱形戰隊>, but Kenneth is now confirmed for the role. Although uncertain over what happened, Kenneth said casting changes within the company are normal. However, he is worried that he will not have enough time to prepare for the role. “I started training this morning, and the gun was pretty heavy weighing around 10 pounds.” Working with Natalie Tong (唐詩詠) and Joel Chan (陳山聰), Kenneth looks forward to showcasing a different side of himself in the in the new terrorist-centered series.
