“The Legal Watchers” Stars Moses Chan, Kenneth Ma and Bosco Wong

Ahead of filming Shaw Brother’s web series The Legal Watchers <執法者們>, Moses Chan (陳豪), Kenneth Ma (馬國明)﹑Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Jennie Chan (陳瀅), Him Law (羅子溢), Moon Lau (劉佩玥), Jacky Cai (蔡潔), Tiffany Lau (劉穎鏇), Oscar Leung (梁競徽) and Regina Ho (何依婷) attended the opening ceremony to pray for good luck.

Bosco Delivers Actions and Intimate Scenes

Playing as a policeman, Bosco will have the majority of the action scenes. When asked if there are any difficult moves, Bosco responded, “When I read the script, I thought the screenwriter was challenging the budget and the scale of television series. Nearly the entire episode has fight scenes. It’s astonishing! I wondered if the scenes already used half of the series’ budget.” Bosco added that some of the scenes will have stunt doubles for the more challenging movements.

Bosco added that he is honored to be playing Jacky’s husband in the web series: “This time we are no longer good friends and I can finally match her. We are very familiar with each other, but I also find ways to prank her. Playing a married couple, we would be a little intimate. It’s not embarrassing because we are familiar with each other.”

Kenneth Holding Back After Getting Married?

Kenneth will be playing the role of an officer from the Independent Commission Against Corruption. Since Kenneth just tied the knot, reporters asked if he would be holding himself back during filming. Kenneth replied, “No correlation. I don’t have a lot of action scenes. Most of them are with Bosco. [If action scenes are to be filmed], I would do them. My coordination is very good and besides, I take safety measures before asking the actors to take their position.”

When asked if Kenneth sought Moses for tips on starting a family, “No need to ask, but if there are children in the future, I will ask him about finding a school.”

Earlier, Jessica Hsuan (宣萱) teased that she and Kenneth has a emotional scenes together in spite of their generation gap. In response, Kenneth said, “How can that be? Does she think I’m too old? I don’t think we have a barrier at all.  I can’t spoil [if we are in a love triangle], but Moses, Jessica and I play old friends.”

Moses Gets Challenging Dialogues

As Moses will be playing a prosecutor, he will predominantly be filming scenes in a courtroom. While the director instructed Moses to play a character with “a purpose” in life, Moses found the script difficult as there were a lot of laws and regulations to memorize.

When asked about his romantic plot with Jessica, Moses said, “We haven’t worked together in a long time. It’s been a number of years since we filmed together.”
