Mandy Wong Wants Both Ruco Chan and Benjamin Yuen in “Intimate Strangers”

Upcoming TVB drama Intimate Strangers <陌路枕邊人> will start filming in June, with Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), and Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) in the rumored cast lineup.

Currently filming Chinese drama The Assassin <隱娘> in Hengdian, Mandy has not received any notice from TVB, but looks forward to partnering with both Benjamin and Ruco. The actress said, “I’ve worked with Benjamin for 11 times at least, and as an onscreen couple for probably 6 times already. As for Ruco, we’ve collaborated for the first time in Hidden Door <隱門>.”

When asked whom she would prefer more as a co-star, Mandy smiled, “I’m quite greedy–working with my old partner would mean there is already a tacit understanding while being with a new co-star could generate new chemistry…well, why not both then!”

Busily working in Hengdian, Mandy shared filming has been going smoothly so far, so she expects to stay there until June. “During my free time, I would go exercise in the hotel gym, dance in studios, and visit cafes.”

Benjamin is Happy to Work With Mandy Again

Benjamin also expressed that he has not received any offers yet, but does not mind working with Mandy again if the opportunity arises. He said, “I think we share an understanding, and there’s still possibilities for new sparks. I’ll consider the script first to decide whether there’s potential, because I don’t want to film just for the sake of filming.”

Currently filming Hidden Door, Ruco also mentioned that he is still waiting for final casting decisions from TVB.
