Pakho Chau Drops New TVB Song After 2 Months of Silence
In July, Pakho Chau (周柏豪) was attacked with intense criticism and hate from mainland Chinese netizens after he told his followers to vote in the Hong Kong elections. This prompted the actor-singer to empty to his Instagram account the following month, erasing more than 7,000 posts.
It wasn’t until today, more than two months after emptying his Instagram account, when he made a new social media update. His Instagram is still empty, but he updated his official Facebook with the new music video “Free My Love” <讓愛高飛>, theme song to Pakho’s upcoming TVB drama Wonder Women <多功能老婆>.
Despite the social media scare, Pakho’s fandom remained steady and strong. Thousands of fans left supportive comments on the music video, which was posted across various streaming sites including YouTube.
Wonder Women is a story about Angela, who has to learn on how to recover from a divorce and raise her son on her own. It also stars Miriam Yeung (楊千嬅), Raymond Wong (黃浩然), Alice Chan (陳煒), Tony Hung (洪永城), and Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗). It premieres November 25, 2019.
