Sisley Choi and Jeannie Chan Close Friendship with “The Sïxters”

Due to the nature of the industry, it’s difficult to make close relationships and friendships in showbiz. Which is why these six girls knew they had to hold onto each other tight.

The Hong Kong entertainment industry has had a handful of close-knit friend groups—like the “Nonsense Club” and the “Housewife Alliance.” Today, we’re learning the establishment of a new friendship clique—the Sïxters.

“Hello everyone! We are: Sïxters! Merry Christmas, everyone!” wrote Anjaylia Chan (陳嘉寶) on Instagram. The Never Dance Alone <女人俱樂部> actress shared a photoshoot series she took with her five close friends: Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), Jeannie Chan (陳瀅), Winki Lai (賴慰玲), Cheronna Ng (吳嘉熙), and Stephanie Ho (何雁詩).

“Many say that it isn’t easy to find true friends in this industry, and even after you found it, it’s hard to maintain,” wrote Anjaylia. “I’m thankful that we are still able to maintain our close relationship after individually meeting each other over the years. Our Heavenly Father has made us all very different, but we are lucky to be able to help each other get over the highest mountains and lowest valleys. We all genuinely want each other to do well. We want happiness for each other, even to the point of disregarding our own self interest. I love you, and I will always support you. It’s not because of what you did, but who you are. We just love the way who each other are.”

  1. Their friendship appears as fake/staged as these Christmas photos. These girls think they’re forming an all girls band? These women need to grow up, they’re no longer high school, with they’re cliques.

  2. I totally understand having close friends, I totally get the clique thing BUT to have a name to the group?

  3. This is all kinds of immature and idiotic. It’s one thing if the media puts them into a group, but it’s another to make one themselves.

  4. The Nonsense club do seem like truly good friends since they always get together. Being a click has helped their careers generally.

The other groups, who knows how deep their friendships really are.

  5. This is like mean girl level clique. You don’t see Roxanne/Jennifer/Tracy/Angel naming themselves.
I feel like this group doesn’t even see each other often?
