Tavia Yeung, Sharon Chan, and Joel Chan Have a Family Playdate
While known to be anxious parents, Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯) and Him Law (羅仲謙) are taking their daughter Hera to meet others and socialize more frequently now that she is 1 year old. Meeting up with celebrity friends with young children allows adults and the little ones to have fun at the same time. Recently, Tavia had a family playdate with Sharon Chan (陳敏之) and Joel Chan (陳山聰) at Lee Gardens.
Tavia posted a picture of the playdate on social media, and she looked beautiful even though she was bare faced. She commented, “We’ve tried so many times to meet up, and now we’re finally able to! Even though we are parents, we are still kids at heart. I hope that when our kids grow up, they’ll be like us and will continue to love and support each other.”
Sharon also responded, “I’m really happy! I’m finally able to meet my good friend’s family and kiss Hera. She is so beautiful–just like a princess! We grew up together and now we are all married and have children. We’re all at a different stage of life, and it is a different type of happiness! Hera must come to our next children’s playdate–I really like you!”
The actresses’ friendship started in 2003 after Tavia collaborated with Mat Yeung (楊明) in TVB drama The ‘W’ Files <衛斯理>. Mat and Sharon were dating at the time, while and Tavia and Mat were fellow classmates from TVB’s artiste training class. Tavia treated him like her brother, and she grew close to Sharon when the latter confided in her relationship troubles.
