Huang Xiaoming (黄晓明) sustained  fractures on his left leg while filming his new movie, The Bride With White Hair <白髮魔女傳>. The wire that suspended Xiaoming failed and he was dropped 3 meters before hitting the ground.  Xiaoming was immediately taken to the prestigious Bejing Jishuitan Hospital, which is known to have the best orthopedic surgeons in mainland China.

Sources said that the doctors have fully examined Xiaoming’s injury and concluded from x-rays that he sustained multiple fractures on his left leg. As for any other injuries caused by the accident, Xiaoming has to remain in the hospital for a more detailed examination. Xiaoming’s mother came immediately to check on his condition and will remain by his side to take care of him.

Dubbed as one of the most dashing mainland Chinese actors in this generation, Huang Xiaoming has been focusing on his movie career in the last few years.  Xiaoming stars with Chow Yun Fat (周潤發) in the upcoming film, The Last Tycoon <大上海>, which is already anticipated to be a blockbuster hit.  With his rising fame and success, Xiaoming has been shooting movies nonstop this year. Although his leg fracture may set him back for a few weeks, this may be a good time for Xiaoming to take a much needed rest from his hectic schedule.

I would disagree with that but I am sure his fans will disagree. As far as I know he is famous but not THAT famous in China.

If it sounded like a toothache, he wouldn’t be transported to the hospital. LMAO I get the correlation.
