BLACKPINK’s Lisa Signs with Hollywood Agency

BLACKPINK’s Lisa has recently signed with top Hollywood talent agency WME which also houses Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone. She is also the first Thai K-pop artist to sign with WME, paving the way for her to officially pursue an acting career in Hollywood.

Earlier this year, Lisa made her acting debut through Season 3 of the HBO series The White Lotus. Now, according to Korean media reports today, she will be starring in a new Netflix action blockbuster titled Extraction: Tigo.

The film is a spinoff of Extraction 2, a high-octane action movie led by Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, known for playing Marvel superhero Thor. Reportedly, Korean actor Ma Dong Seok, famous for the The Outlaws series, will play the role of Tigo, a mercenary who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue a kidnapped comrade. The film will also feature intense confrontations between Ma Dong Seok and fellow actor Lee Jin Wook.
