Zhao Lusi and Leo Wu to Reunite in “Divas Hit the Road”?

Leo Wu (吳磊) and Rosy Zhao Lusi (趙露思) were previously linked in romance rumours after starring together in Love Like the Galaxy <星漢燦爛>. Fans even gave them the CP nickname “Wu Lu Ke Tao (吳露可逃)”, literally “nowhere to hide”.

Couple Interactions Closely Watched by Fans

However, after behind-the-scenes clip of them riding the same horse during filming went viral online, interactions between the two have reportedly dropped significantly. In the video, Zhao Lusi appeared to be startled, seemingly because she did not realize filming had already started – and as the horse was going too fast – was alleged to have cursed at Leo. As the controversy continued to escalate, fans from both sides became embroiled in heated online disputes.

The most recent occasion on which both appeared at the same event was at Tencent’s Starlight Awards ceremony at the end of last year, where the duo’s every move drew close attention. When Leo went onstage to accept an award, Zhao Lusi kept applauding for him, while the broadcast director repeatedly switched the camera between the two, much to the delight of fans.

Pre-release Hyper for “Divas Hit the Road”?

Recently, it was reported that Hunan TV’s flagship travel reality show Divas Hit the Road <花兒與少年> is set to begin filming in July, with planned shoots in Peru, Mexico, and Argentina. A rumored cast list has also been circulating online. The female guests are said to be selected from Yan Ni, Wen Zhengrong, Hai Qing, Ariel Lin, Jing Tian, Janice Man, Liu Haocun, and Zhao Lusi, with five to be chosen. The male guests are reportedly to be picked from Leo Wu, Greg Hsu, and Song Weilong, with two ultimately joining.

After finally regaining momentum through Love’s Ambition <許我耀眼>and resolving her contract dispute with her former agency Galaxy Cool Entertainment, Zhao Lusi is currently still recuperating and has turned down many acting offers. There had previously also been rumours that she was being courted for the pet-themed variety show Pets Companion <寵物合夥人>, but nothing further came of it. Meanwhile, Leo Wu is still busy filming the new drama The Swords <劍來>, so he may not have the time to take on a variety show either.
